I like IBM Mainframe solution, but data is a valuable, people who ever tell you that you can save on data storage using cloud, is snake oil salesman, sure in some cases it must be used for backup, but dont depend only on one cloud provider if you need data storage and think in advance , what will happen in 5 years in 10 years , sure IBM would be on the market, but the price may go up , what will you do next then? Just think of it! Side note i love IBM mainframe, and as soon as possible i get needed capital i would have latest and greatest mainframes from IBM.
