    Dear Terry,
    First of all hats off to you for speaking the truth about the agents who would tell you there is great interest in the property and the price had gone up by 20k within a day.
    Is there any way to catch these buggers out? Is there any way to find out that they are not trying to make you bid against yourself. Please shed some light on this.

    Hi Terry, thank you for your informative videos. Could you please do a video on tools/approaches for figuring out the actual value of a house. Price register could be helpful but it would only work if you can find a property in the same area which is sold in the last year or so.

    @12:20 Is there any reason why a sale would not be made public on the property registration? People can usually check the record and price paid online a few months after the sale. But is there any reason why that info would not be posted online? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

    What's the difference in between buying from the agency and the owner?

    • @terrygorry
      @terrygorry  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is no difference regarding the property you are buying. But you would need to be careful if you are asked to pay over any money-the agency will be bonded and regulated by the statutory body and there are rules and regulations as to how agents/auctioneers act.
      Buying from a private guy will not have the same protections but at the end of the day both you and the seller will have a solicitor so you should both be protected.

    Is there gazumping in Ireland? Or does the booking fund stop that?

    • @terrygorry
      @terrygorry  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is extremely rare now, I have not seen it happening for a long time. Vendors are usually happy to deal with their purchaser until it is clear the purchaser is unable or unwilling to sign the contract.

      It happened to us. We lost money with solicitor as the vendor decided to sell to someone else for more money!. It was a probate purchase so the delay during the property rise time. Booking deposit is not legally bound so all we got back was the booking deposit.

    It's my first "investigative type of gathering informations about buying property or small rural cottage in Ireland" which was inspired from Mossy Bottom's moving in Ireland video,John:47,John8:32📟💻🌝, i found something about the situations or conditions between the agent or auctioneer and the property and the buyer,in which the" structural conditions of the cottage, house or whatever old thing in the land included are in mostly in bad conditions,"😱💯🙅Mat.7:20,Mat.12:33-35, Gal.5:9,Mat.16:6, i have lived for 25 yrs.in Japan and formerly owned a house too, that i am no innocent totally about buying a house,where in Ireland the procedures and presentations of the property to the seller is "quite disturbing and costly in a way that there are some rules that when you buy the property with old structure,it seems like a mandatory to perform or burden the whole renovation cost of the house you will buy"😱🧐💀💯🐍📖,Mat.12:33,Mat.12:7Mat.6:21,1Timothy6:10,and the necessities to move in as soon as possible is somewhat the buyer particularly foreigner is "giving priority to avoid too much cost on travelling from country origin",so it is very important to provide assitance or processing works for lines of water,electricity,heating system where the country is in four seasons, so basically these are the most important to find out for buying the property,to be in" accessible of the basic or prime necessities on housing",💯🌞Mat.6:19,Mat.16:3,John17:16-23, and it just obvious that" auctioneer is like a spoild entity that doesn't give any important access or clearances,cleaning,installation of lines of electricity,waters,phone,septic tank when buying a house",John4:21-24,Mat.12:33,Mat.3:22,what i mean is,in buying a property "the buyer is only to get ready with the money to buy,"but the responsibilities on minor renovation,cleaning,installing lines of electricity,water,telephone is what the realtor-auctioneer are supposed to do to make all things smooth and more time consuming on moving in or packing and finalization of the papers,contract,deed of sale leading to title of ownership, and finally "to move in,"🌝🌞John8:32,1John2:19-20 i like to move in Ireland but the houses,properties are too ruined or abandoned,that needs so much weeding,cleaning renovation and the worst the 'buyer should do the processing procedures on installation of house necessities,"😱Mat.6:21,Mat.2:7,1John2:15-17 in other country like Japan,all the processing works up to title of ownership are all handling by the realtor agents,all you have to do is to sign a contract or pay in cash and the rest you need is to move in the moment you received the house key,in Ireland it "can be a culture too to realtor,agents,auctioneer to adapt this kind of selling-buying contract or agreement and conditions to inspire the buyer "and to "gain trust and justified credibility" to the work of an auctioneer and realtor- developer,🧐💯🌝🌞📖John1:47,Mat.24:34-45,John13:22,Mat.6:24,Acts17:29-31,John8:32,i like and falling for Sligo and Leitrim counties though🌞🌝💞John8:32
