I did it!!! I got monetized from 0 in 3 weeks!! I now have 5591 subs and 4 million watch hours and I make my videos I iMovie on my MacBook!! I make Congressional Hearing clips and it grew like wildfire it BLEW MY MIND!!!

Bro thanks for this. I've been debating putting all my stuff on one channel, or keep my 8 channels. I have many interests and I do this full time (almost - some other small part time gigs). Many of my videos (since I started making them properly) have started ranking. Some on my health channel, some on my TH-cam growth channel (just decided to start documenting what I've learned in TH-cam since I started seriously last year), and some on my Vlogging channel (my amateur food vlogs actually rank LOL). I've been putting all that under just me, and just be a lifestyle vlogger channel in a sense. But in life I like to go wide and deep. And I do that anyway I'm a very thorough person and I have 28 media features. So I'm wondering if I can build my TH-cam out correctly, I can probably keep all the different channels, and since they're specific, they would grow even faster (hopefully). I'm definitely going to try this with a channel or two. So far I only used one to script a longform video. It was kinda generic... and kinda meh... What would your advice be, put all my interests and entire life on one channel, or if I've got the grit for the next 3-5 years, keep all the channels separate? If anyone else reading can advise too, happy to take the advice.
Great video with one exception: Never use text to speech; instead hire someone to do a quality voiceover. Here are the reasons why: 1) TH-cam and other sites actively hide robo-voice content because people don't like it, which guarantees less views, less engagement, less subscribers, less visibility, and thus less revenue, 2) People don't like it, 3) The quality is far less than a talented voiceover person, and 4) If you hire people to do voiceovers, you're contributing to society by employing someone, one of the best things you can do as a business owner. Eventually text to speech will be so good it'll be the best option, but we're not there yet.
I think it is all about testing BUT I do agree that hiring a human or doing it yourself is way better. I have been working on YT actively for quite a while now including this channel I am using to write from and nothing is as easy as 1, 2, 3. There is a TON more out there that most gurus aren't telling you and you will find out as you work on the videos yourself. Instead of creating garbage content, it is BEST to do content that is evergreen and that will contribute to society in a positive way. I have to admit, however, that society ALSO forces many people to do whatever it takes to make $ so the bills are paid so it is a fine line between doing what's best and what will put food on the table.

I started a YT channel based on this video. I had a lot of story ideas and themes for the stories. I used Chat GPT to make stories using these themes. I created some videos myself and for other videos I paid others to make it. I used Murf ai for voice over. I used YT channel promotion help from others. I Spent some money on this. I reached the requirements for monetization. I applied for monetization and YT rejected my channel saying I used stories from the content farms, repetitive content, reused content, etc.
If you created original content I’d appeal and explain why you believe they made an incorrect decision and explain how you created the original contnet

Oh, I tried this and... it's not that easy as these presenters are trying to convince everybody. First of all, ChatGTP written scripts all sound the same and are boring. And ChatGTP lies a lot than talking about facts. Text to sound AI is great. But the good ones are expensive and free ones usually sound like robots. Finally. Even if the script is written by AI and voice is done by AI, you still need to edit video yourself. And this part takes the most of the time. In conclusion - new tools are great, but they are still tools and you will need to work with them. To make profit from youtube is hard. Only 3 percent manages to reach monetization.
I don't sorry! The easiest way imo (for free) is to see what parts of your video have audience retention spikes in your graph (in creator studio). Then you know those parts are intriguing to people and you can make shorts/tiktoks/reels with those specific parts.

There’s no best length honestly. The best length is the longest possible video that keeps audience retention for as long as possible. In a vacuum, a longer video would be better. But a short video that retains the audience for…say…3 minutes on avg. is much better than a long video that retains the audience for 2 mins…or even 3 mins. So the best answer is don’t necessarily focus on length. Focus on good quality and interesting topics…and audience retention. A good sweet spot to shoot for is like 5-7 minutes imo. But a short video is honestly fine too. It’s easier to keep ppl watching. Hope that helps!

Appreciate it! I would honestly rather buy a channel, but I’ve tried. Every time I look into it it seems like legit deals are super expensive and there’s still risk. And anything that looks have decent on those broker websites are usually listed by scammers that will either transfer you ownership of a channel that can’t be monetized….or just take your money completely and never give you anything and then just make a new account and do it all over again.
I got demonotized on my first channel I tried to do automation on...but the reason for that was unclear. I assumed it had to do with Text to speech b/c that's what it said when I applied. But it also said it was because I didn't have original content. So after talking with several people that have been able to monetize text to speech channels, I've concluded that you can use TTS, but you need to create original content that TH-cam deems to be valuable to the platform. The first videos I was creating weren't very well edited. They were just automated voiceovers on random creative commons videos. I cover why I changed my mind in the other video that's not the first 1 and not this one (in the YT automation playlist) if you want to check it out.

@@BryanGuerratv there’s like two options when you create a yt account, a brand account or a personal one. Does it have to be one of the other or can you just choose any?
@@BryanGuerratv ok I guess I will use the personal but if you check there’s also an option to upgrade your account to a ‘brand channel’ where multiple people can access your account. I thought you would need this in order for editors etc to access your channel. Hope that makes a little more sense lol.
I've got a channel wid 25k subs and 136k watchtime by uploading shorts and vids but I couldn't monetize due to copyright 😢, can I still restart on that channel and get monetized ?
If you’re using other people’s content then I think your best bet is to delete the videos and start over…or simply try to monetize with other ways (like affiliate marketing/brand deals)

Yeah you want to ideally go after something with enough views, but not that high of completion. I would rather pick something that does have views and is competitive though…rather than something that doesn’t have many views but is wide open.
I have uploaded 2 videos a day for 2weeks using murph and pictory and I’m getting 5 to no traction I think TH-cam can detect AI scripts or is it just me?

I haven’t monetized an AI voice one personally yet. I know other people that have though. I have successfully monetized a channel with human voices and video mashups though. I’m currently testing 2 channels with AI voices so I’ll find out fast if there’s any other issues that pop up. Both are about halfway there

Yeah, I've heard that too. That's what I said in the first video I did on this...but after talking with a bunch of different people who have been able to monetize channels with TTS and keep them monetize, I've changed my stance on it. I think it's okay...if....you're adding value and creating good videos that are deemed original content. If you're just adding TTS voices to random pictures or reddit threads or anything like that then TH-cam isn't going to see your content as valuable to the platform. < just my take hope it helps!

I don't understand how anybody can think that paying sometimes on Fiver to do your job is not even cheap enough. Humanity is doomed - out of greed and laziness people will turn to AI in a flick. It’s just smart business. You can be a smart person and still have an opinion about the future. Paying more than you have to as a business owner simply for the sake of paying more and not using technology is not only a dumb business move, but also leaves you at a major disadvantage.

Tried chat gpt for video scripts. It's not as good as human scripts who can add humour and feeling into a script. Chat gpt is good for getting the facts quickly but not interpretation of those facts.

But a short video that retains the audience for…say…3 minutes on avg. is much better than a long video that retains the audience for 2 mins…or even 3 mins. So the best answer is don’t necessarily focus on length. Focus on good quality and interesting topics…and audience retention. A good sweet spot to shoot for is like 5-7 minutes imo. But a short video is honestly fine too. It’s easier to keep ppl watching. Hope that helps!

Appreciate it! I would honestly rather buy a channel, but I’ve tried. Every time I look into it it seems like legit deals are super expensive and there’s still risk. And anything that looks have decent on those broker websites are usually listed by scammers that will either transfer you ownership of a channel that can’t be monetized….or just take your money completely and never give you anything and then just make a new account and do it all over again.

I got demonotized on my first channel I tried to do automation on...but the reason for that was unclear. I assumed it had to do with Text to speech b/c that's what it said when I applied. But it also said it was because I didn't have original content. So after talking with several people that have been able to monetize text to speech channels, I've concluded that you can use TTS, but you need to create original content that TH-cam deems to be valuable to the platform. The first videos I was creating weren't very well edited. They were just automated voiceovers on random creative commons videos. I cover why I changed my mind in the other video that's not the first 1 and not this one (in the YT automation playlist) if you want to check it out.

I've got a channel wid 25k subs and 136k watchtime by uploading shorts and vids but I couldn't monetize due to copyright 😢, can I still restart on that channel and get monetized ?
If you’re using other people’s content then I think your best bet is to delete the videos and start over…or simply try to monetize with other ways (like affiliate marketing/brand deals)

Does High competition matters, when you start new channel?
Yeah you want to ideally go after something with enough views, but not that high of completion. I would rather pick something that does have views and is competitive though…rather than something that doesn’t have many views but is wide open.

I haven’t monetized an AI voice one personally yet. I know other people that have though. I have successfully monetized a channel with human voices and video mashups though. I’m currently testing 2 channels with AI voices so I’ll find out fast if there’s any other issues that pop up. Both are about halfway there

i wanted to comment on the AI voiceover... youtube has been cracking down on these channels nd it can get your channel demonetized. been watching a lot of these YT automation videos lately and theres some other youtubers talking about getting demonetized or their videos taken down because of this
Yeah, I've heard that too. That's what I said in the first video I did on this...but after talking with a bunch of different people who have been able to monetize channels with TTS and keep them monetize, I've changed my stance on it. I think it's okay...if....you're adding value and creating good videos that are deemed original content. If you're just adding TTS voices to random pictures or reddit threads or anything like that then TH-cam isn't going to see your content as valuable to the platform. < just my take hope it helps!

So... you think A.I is scary and will put many out of job, which is accurate, but at the same time you re advocating it... I don't understand how anybody can think that paying sometimes on Fiver to do your job is not even cheap enough. Humanity is doomed - out of greed and laziness people will turn to AI in a flick. This is not against you in particular, but you are a good exemple of the phenomenon...
It’s just smart business. You can be a smart person and still have an opinion about the future. Paying more than you have to as a business owner simply for the sake of paying more and not using technology is not only a dumb business move, but also leaves you at a major disadvantage.

Tried chat gpt for video scripts. It's not as good as human scripts who can add humour and feeling into a script. Chat gpt is good for getting the facts quickly but not interpretation of those facts.
