the speech "كان بين آدم ونوح عشرة قرون كلهم على الإسلام" was said by Abdullah Ibn Abbas (RA) not the prophet (pbuh) but the hadith was (عن أبي أمامة أن رجلا قال : (يا رسول الله أنبيٌّ كان آدم ؟ قال : نعم ، مكلَّم ، قال : فكم كان بينه وبين نوح ؟ قال : عشرة قرون) رواه ابن حبان في " صحيحه " (14 / 69) والحاكم (2/262) وقال صحيح على شرط مسلم)
