One of the things that I admire about Filipinos is that we can easily accept defeat whole-heartedly without showing any bitterness at all probably because the colonial mentality still lingers on the Filipino psyche that "white race" will always be superior than the "brown race" even if we feel we can be as great as anyone else in the world. You see, the Philippines was colonized by Spain for over 300 years, USA for over 50 years and Japan for about 5 years and that was how our former rulers instill on us Filipinos that as a conquered people we don't have the right to complain and we just have to follow them. Sad but its true.

Miss Colombia was arrogant and "knew" she was going to win. Miss Philippine came to win very different. I do wish Miss USA would have been 1st runner up because she was sweet, had much class and was very happy for Miss. Philippines. For all those Latina Contestants that chanted Miss Colombia and took away the moment from Miss Philippine explains why they are not wearing the crown. I would banned them from ever coming back to the Miss Universe pageant. Only my opinion!
Miss Universe 2015 is a PERFECT example for a Beauty with Brain, Grace and HEART. Congratulation Miss Philippine, you re not just representing your country but the WHOLE ASIA, we are so proud of you.

As a matter of fact, most of the governor-generals in the Philippines were born in Mexico and we have a considerable amount of Mexican Spanish in our native languages. Proof of our countries' strong relationship, here in the Philippines we have a town called Mexico in the province of Pampanga and surprisingly in Mexico when the country was still ruled by Spain, Texas used to be part of Mexico and was called Nueva Filipinas. How cool is that huh! Viva Mexico y Filipinas! Abrazos a nuestros hermanos Mexicanos!

I knew there was something fishy out there. When Colombia was announced winner, the candidates at her back should have gone to her right at that moment and congratulated her. And then the thing came up and the rest was history..
I can attest and am pretty sure this reaction was post-recorded days after having known the results. The reaction looks very acted and anticipated.... Best proof is when the boy sings "it's hard to say am sorry " which was a tweet joke with lyrics from Justin Bieber's song posted days after the contest...
