They've been getting more accessible over the years with progress on PS2 emulation, but I can understand it being difficult to emulate for some still yah (especially if you want to even access the arranged edition and make it arcade accurate, you have to go through a lot of hoops including stuff like hidden dipswitch settings). There's also no real effective netplay for it as far as I know. Also technically this is not Chronicle, as that is a separate game (the Dreamcast one, as well as the PSP one known as Chaos Tower) more akin to something like Hyper Street Fighter II and doesn't feature Dee.
@@Ceruleancast I think it's dumb that they don't just rerelease the "arranged" versions on modern consoles since they are considered the DEFINITIVE versions. I think the reason is because both collections were developed NATIVELY for the PS2. And PS2 is difficult to emulate.
@@sdlock83a lot of their modern rereleases are pretty bare minimum yeah, it's generally just Vsav1 arcade rereleased with worse online than for free on Fightcade which gives them no real perk for most. Ideally Older Anita should be added in too to complete the roster, but that's not something modern Capcom would do for a rerelease. Dee in this was supposedly built from assets they had during his development in Vsav1 arcade before he got cut, so who knows how feasible it would be to port to modern releases, but it would be nice at least if they tried.
You need to first unlock the Arranged versions of Vsav, Vhunt2 or Vsav2, which I did by getting a completed save file online. Next you need to hold down select as you pick one of those three games in the title screen in order to access the Arranged versions of them, after that you should go to options, and as you press "game option" hold down R1, you should go to a dipswitch menu full of stars. There you want to mess around with it till you get him on the character select screen (I don't know which of them put him there). He can also be selected by pressing start 9 times on the random box character select, then pressing any punch or kick buttons, though I forgot if this requires any dipswitch settings on or not (and it sometimes wouldn't work for me iirc).
Dee's voice when Change Immortal sounds so much more demonic than when Donovan uses it. I really like that little addition there.
According to Lilith's Glooming Puppet EX Attack, his new laugh is "Fo fo fo...!" Lol!
thank you so much for making this video.
Its the secret stuff like this that makes this game awesome.
*I'd like to see all the attacks being deflected with Hsien Ko's gong, including Jeddah's big hand that's seals you in the death contract*
Thank you for doing this video!
The lack of fan art for female Dee is a crime

Capcom, I just want to play chronicle chaos tower so i can be happy again.
The fact that it wasn’t included in their fighting collection is a crime
It's like the dark side of Donovan .
0:50 is that a jojo refrence
Probably.
Cuando cae en el ataque de Demitri me recuerda mucho a Rainbow Mika de Street Fighter
Such a shame that Vampire - The Darkstalkers Chronicles and Street Fighter Alpha Anthology are the difficult to emulate.
