These are really left wing questions for a state that's not a left wing state. The lady who asked about studying diseases based on demographics doesn't understand DEI has nothing to do with that. She was trying to tie hiring and promotions to using demographic data to isolate medical issues and treatments. Totally unrelated.
I personally asked Jay Ashcroft at a fund raiser about keeping these referendums that update the Constitution on complex issues with language that is difficult for most voters to fully understand. Missouri has a Republican government and our legislators should be amending the Constitution as needed and then sending to the citizens to approve up or down. When I asked that question, Jay literally walked away from me and I took offense to that.
I thought the moderators were all doing a great job at the manor in which they handled the two candidates. Both candidates kept their composure. I felt Ashcroft seemed better at being detailed in his answers. Eigel is promising no tax, but didn't try to lay out an introduction of how he would begin that process.

Considering the FEC has identified that Missouri has "cleaned" voter roles and found thousands of voters that were on voter roles but could not be identified by the SSA by their SS#. I love Missouri and believe that the state government is our first best defense of the federal government.

Many practicing engineers do not have a PE license because it is not required in their area of practice. The test itself is very limited in what it tests. Mr. Ashcroft is exactly right that having an engineering degree teaches a person to think logically. This is not to say a person without one cannot be logical, but a person with that degree has learned how to do it.

In actuality, it is hiring an entire coterie of Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Directors, Coordinators, and then a host of underlings for those people to supervise at every state university. I don't agree with either of them on abortion. They need to get a bill that allows up to 12 weeks. If a child is viable outside the womb the state welfare needs to intervene.
