Amazing. Every artist evolves and many people lose the train on that and i'm one of them, ricardos productions nowadays even if the quality is great it is all based on the same kind of idea. Its sad that these kind of artists lose some of their focus because of all the years touring. However me being a guy that comes from the old school techno initially ricardo will always be on my top 3 artists ever. His sense of detail and originality is unmatched.
It is "matched" though by Autechre, the band which he, in his own words, rips off and applies house beat to their style. He made it his own thing, their styles differ, even though the influences are obvious.
