They didn’t use the “f” word back then, because it was a very bad word coming from very crude, low-class individuals. 😐 The word back then used to describe his shirt would’ve been “groovy.”
There were some episodes that Greg and Peter would be friendlier to Marcia and Cindy, but part of the idea was the kid would be best suited to someone their own age, however, there was one kid who got along with everyone and went out of his way to do so....even when it scared him silly a few times....Bobby.
They did quite a few Peter and Cindy pair-ups. Peter and Cindy were always so optimistic. There SHOULD have been a Jan and Bobby pair-ups, I always thought they were similar with feeling inadequate often

@Imjustsaying1966 I'm surprised they didn't make Peter wear colored contact lenses so that his eye color would match or at least come close to the rest of the family. Colored contact lenses were introduced in the 1930's by a make-up artist for movies, so they had already been around awhile before The Brady Bunch series. Back in the 1st season, they made Mike Lookinland ('Bobby') dye his hair black because his natural hair color was too light, compared to Robert, Barry & Chris's hair. They had to stop dying it after a few episodes because the bright overhead lights on the set were _so_ hot, they caused the dye to run down his face, lol.
...y'know...looking back at these Old episodes / scenes, I truly believe Peter got the short end of the stick, in relation to story-lines; being a 'Middle Child', he DOESN'T truly need the neuroses Jan had (which defined her), but a growing Teen Boy HAD to have some! ..not these, '...I'm dy-ing...' story arcs.....(3:14)....Oh, well....

It’s kinda funny the way they paired up each kid w the opposite gender of the same age, like Peter couldn’t be friendlier w Marcia? Or Cindy?
