Here I am: sixty five years old and only played my first notes on a clarinet just the other day. I'm hooked💞💞🎶🎶
This is the most beautiful clarinet piece I have ever heard. I am glad I found Anat Cohen.
I can´t believe so few people have enjoyed this video! paquito´s solo is amazing!!!
Haven't heard this until now. Literally tears in my eyes. It's such beautiful playing. Amazing!
Wait how the heck is no one talking about 11:29????? @AnatCohenMusic just trilled and glissando'ed down at the same time. How does one do that?!?
This is beautiful. New favorite artist
Quite impressive !
Two magic clarinet players! Paquito is of course marvelous! Anat, even though relatively young, for me is an Israeli reincarnation of Tony Scott with a huge dollop of Buddy De Franco. Hints of Klemmer style from the Middle East and a glorious soundscape of jazz riffs that knock my socks off...possibly yours too.
God help us... that solo just broke me and put me together again ❤
And props to the band for holding that tempo so beautifully. Foundations.
Man I love Paquito's playing here!
Such a great performance!
Anat is a young and great musician and Paquito, well, that’s one of the greatest saxophones and clarinet players with (I believe) 14 Grammys under his belt and this is another of his always fantastic presentations. I saw him last Wednesday, January 9th at the Amaturo Theater in Fort Lauderdale with the Shelly Berg Trio and it was, of course, a magnificent concert.
one of the best live recordings i've seen! the rhythm section!!
2020: AND THE WORLD STILL WEEPS
These musicians put so much of their souls into playing. I sometimes wonder what they have left for themselves! .... but they keep coming back, greater than ever!
The whole group is so deep in the pocket, I'm amazed they could find their way out.
Our response to this magnificent item:
For our dear friends and intercessors,
For every friend of Israel,
For the lovers of Zion,
Hovevei Zion.
A musical expression,
A solid concentration,
A most vivid presentation,
An inextricable authentication
Of the Jewish pain,
Its affliction and wretchedness
Of the Jewish longing and yearning…
Play, weep and pray…
my word, this is the most beautiful thing.....
This is one of the most beautiful things that I've ever heard
Tredici minuti e 55 secondi di vera musica che rimarrà in eterno. Grazie per questa poesia
Great performances by all, and excellent sound and video quality. I've heard Anat leading four very different bands playing very different music, and she's always great.
Beauty - with a snap-shot of New Orleans; isn't it?
"Father" and "daughter" - clarinetists supreme!
This rhythmic mood also suits James Carter nicely for his clarinettic aerobics and techniques.
Totally, it reminded me of Wynton's The Death of Jazz
Thank you so much for posting this piece of magic.
She says the guest is Moris Greenberg (a typical Jewish name) who is known as (a.k.a) Paquito D'Rivera... Why is this joke? Because Cuban D'Rivera was wearing a Kippah (Jewish hat) with Jewish candle figure on it. D'Rivera is not only a great clarinet player, but also a playful man.
Thanks for the info. I actually researched to see what his “real” name was. Her introduction threw me. Doesn’t matter they were both great. He’s great on sax too.
its so good, it has a smell
Swings ! Both players Brilliant and so bluesy feel in your
It in body
It definitely has flavor❤❤
Thank you Paul
Amazing performance by two great clarinet players.
Thanks paul for sharing that, as you said, mindblowing

GREAT DEMOSTRATION FOR TWO GREAT CLARINETISTS.
BRAVO !!!
Wowswwwws!!!!!!!!!! Eso es todo!!!!!!!!! A punto de morir después de ésto. Gracias.gracIas, gracias.
Un orgasmo musical.
I played clarinet when I was a kid and later switched to saxophone which I've played all my life. All I can say is, the clarinet is a very difficult instrument to play well. Anat and Paquito make it look effortless here, and their playing is brilliant and beyond category. Bravo! Madam and monsieur.
pure feeling.
Quando le note del clarinetto salgono oltre le nuvole,
ancora più su,ancora più in alto....è POESIA !
uno dei suoni più belli tra tutti gli strumenti a fiato, poi suonato così.....
Two master artists! Excellent.
I Love It! Supreme dynamics and virtuosic playing!
OMG It's just awesome. I'm in love!
What an honor it is to witness this.
Thank you.
This is just otherwordly ... beautiful. Thanks!
Paquito's superhuman playing is the way I would imagine God or the Devil delivering.

Simplement fantastique!La musique de l'âme!Le spleen mais pas triste,jubilatoire!Ça remue jusqu'au tréfond!Quel duo,quel blues!Musique éternelle!

Impresionante los dos!!!! virtuosos
I met Anat Cohen and she was so cordial and very beautiful tired in a town folks play for gas money. Lol. But a all women artists was so great with her Detroit' 'Hot' Style. Paquito my hero from day one on alto but busted out and plays jazz clarinet and keeps it going. Amazing collaboration. Ashamed I didnt hear great clarinet jazzmen when I took lessons on the instrument.
Awesome!
Great musical conception - I like the free association of ideas and the sometimes unexpected shifts into new rhythmic and melodic patterns - bravo!
Bravo!! 👏👏👏
