useful tip. if you have a midrange or old flagship phone na di nyo nagagamit, use that kesa bilhin to. mas makkatipid kayo. check gsm arena to check the modem ng device nyo for theoritical speeds and most offer 30 or more, same as this. the 5g sim dito that they are using as a marketing tool. ang nagpapabilis sa modem na to is carrier aggregation, not 5g kasi 4g lang ang modem na to.
also before buying this device bili ka smart sim and use it on your phone. pag maganda signal you can use this. note na if you have a midrange or flagship phone anuman speed ng smart sa bahay nyo e same na makukuha nyo with this device
and to add the promos of smart are to expensive, not sulit for heavy users

@@jerickat8587 Same thought. Most Smart promos are not worth it, if not bitin, but seems faster imo. While Globe has great sulit offers, but its slow/weak signal is a letdown.
I had this po pero hindi ba po nagana ang wifi nya kahit i reset ganun pa din. Its not showing sa wifi list on multiple devices. Pano po kaya to ma fix

I am sorry to pop balloons here. Lessons learned for me, Smart and Globe. Never ever buy ISP locked pocket wifi or wireless modem routers ESPECIALLY dead spot ang area, room, or house nyo kasi magko crawl ang device sa kakahanap ng signal. Hihi. Maka connect man, putol putol ang connection sooner or later. I use debranded, openline modem routers, and even TP Link 4G LTE router, and I get better connection now. I also rely on outdoor MIMO antenna. I use regular LTE SIMs, and I couldn't be this happier because I get stronger signal now, and less downtime at work because I work from home. I might use ISP locked devices provided I use corpo SIM para sure ako magka stronger signal. Those previous versions of pocket wifis sold by Globe and Smart are nandoon sa baul, at ipamigay ko na mga iyon soon sa gustong tyagaan ito. Napaka forgettable ng experience ko sa mga ISP locked devices.
Hi po. Ganun din po sa bahay namin, mahina o walang signal ang Globe. So, ang kaylangan ko po ba ay modem ng ibang network tulad ng Smart at kaylangan ko din po ba ng router pati antenna? Thank you po.

Happy with this review since I've been checking for alternate internet solution. Would like to hear better audio nextime as I found my self fumbling with volume rocker since audio sometimes gets high or low.

No.. It means 🚮🚮🚮
No. One factor why we can't achive true 4G is because there are many people who uses 4G not to mention the lack of cell sites. If more people were to use 5G, there is possibilty that 4G network will get higher bandwidth and thus faster internet. This is what i think. Even though 5G is no doubt way faster than 4G, it uses more data and thus costs more if we're talking about mobile internet. It's a win-win for telcos but i am not sure about the consumer, unless it will cost cheaper.
marketing gimmik. why would they say 5G capable sim when the device can only handle up to 4G amount of mb/s

Ask ko lng. Bumili ako niyan today. Nag speedtest ako dito sa bahay umaabot lng siya ng 20 mbps. Pero using my cellphone na smart prepaid din same area nag speedtest ako umaabot siya ng 80mbps. Bat po gnun magkaiba? E same lng naman silang smart
Yung signal sa cellphone nyo po kasi hindi stable yan. Yung sa Smart LTE-A Pocket Wifi is stable.

How to troubleshoot kaya to, TS. Hindi ako makapag send pictures, accept messenger calls/video at di nag loload ung lazada at shoppe app. Pero kapag ibang wifi connection naman. Nag pa function lahat ng nabanggit.

What's the point of a 5G sim when the device isn't 5G capable?

@@unboxph I think what he meant was the pocket wifi itself. Is it 5G ready. As the name of the device implies its only LTE. At least thats what I understand.

@@johnalvert4139 true, but you didnt answer the question. Is the device itself 5G ready. A 5G sim is pointless if the device doesn't support 5G. Even if you connect your phone to this pocket wifi, its still 4G speeds and not 5G. I tried researching what LTE-A is, its basically an upgraded 4G, so its faster than the regular 4G but still not considered 5G.
Have anyone tried using a Smart LTE postpaid SIM on this one? Thanks.

lol 25MBPS is too slow for a "5G" network and your Prepaid Pocket WiFi only recieve's "4G" LTE as shown on the display with full bars of signal but still 20MBPS is too slow for a "4G" network. It didn't even reach half of the speed limit (at least 50MBPS) of the Pocket WiFi which is "100MBPS max as advertised". But for social media, emails or video call this will do. But with multiple devices connected and streaming with a 4k video is a "NO".
