@Trey G yeah i don't see anything op with Mina. i mean compared to Wan-fu the crabwalk king, and Basara the untouchable. she's a pretty standard character. also i fucking hate the addition of basara, and some aspects of wanfu. and i can assuredly point out why these characters are op.
Basara:
1. has a full map fireball, that also counts as an immediate anti air when close or attempting jump ins
2. has no true counter. the closest I've found for a count is the guy with 7 swords(haven't played in a while) with his back guard special.
3. he can just about keep you on the ground at all times with his spirit ball + FB combo
4. virtually untouchable can't even close the distance. he can whiff an FB, and as you run in for a punish he just hits you with neutral mid forcing you back into a reset.
5. weird parry frames. i find it incredibly difficult to parry Basara's neutrals mainly due to the fact that his weapon is ranged. imo in a game like samsho ranged weapons like earthquakes, and basaras are really weird to attempt a parry.
in all i wish that they would remove basara from the game, and replace him with a different "Halloween" esk character. for example there are the dark versions of haohamaru, and nakoruru with somewhat entirely different kits, and in one of the previous games there was a character that had a claw hand and was green and flea man like. just anything would've been better than basara.
Wan-fu:
1. is the only character that can be mobile while crouch blocking. basically making him an unbeatable tank cause it's not hard to immediately switch from crouch block to normal blocking. only counter are the ninjas advancement heavies being an overhead, and a rekka.
2. has what i believe to be the second fastest weapon pick up in the game which to me makes no sense. first, it's a giant fucking pillar. lastly, he is the strongest unarmed character in the game.
3. when unarmed everything is a knockdown, and i mean everything.
4. he has some fucked up ghost frames on his poke, and jump heavy. i'm nowhere near the weapon visually, but i still get hit none the less.
in the end for this character i would want them to. first, remove his mobility on crouch blocking which imo is an obscene advantage over every other character in game. secondly greatly decrease his weapon pick up speed to that of what ever character has the slowest pick up, if not slower. lastly, fix his hit boxes for his weapon.
this really a sleepy game XD
