    Fantastic! I was struggling to press that button AND roll the tent up to pack away! All clear now! Thank you.

    Thank you for this video, it really gives a clear and informative description as to how the valve works.

      Thanks for this. Unfortunately we are struggling to get air in when we have connected the pump. It’s as if the valve doesn’t turn so stays on closed. Tried it on all three points but no difference. Any suggestions?

    Thank you! So simple when you know, something I struggled with on first pitch so searched for a better way of deflating than holding the button in.

    Brilliant video we struggled getting the air our and the size of the thing was a joke trying to wrestle it into the bag.Most of the company videos have little commentary and when they get to the valve the operative generally has their back to the camera.Why don’t you take your video to vango it would be such a help to so many people. Thanks Again.

    At last....an explanation! All the videos by 'professional' companies and the woeful instructions didn't help! Now I haven't got to continue as a contortionist trying to push the valve in whilst rolling it up 🤗

    Hi Gary, i have broken the valve in my vango airbeam, is there any way of replacing it? Thanks Sarah

      @@sarahjeffrey-jt3sz I'm afraid not but you can purchase a new inner bladder with the valve attached. Vango has their own spares website. What model tent is it you have. www.campingspares.co.uk

      Thanks for the advice. It is a sepera II awning tent which attaches to my VW. Thanks

      @@sarahjeffrey-jt3sz Here you go. Often the replacement tubes are longer but when you take the original out you will see you just fold the excess back on itself or roll it up. www.campingspares.co.uk/airspeed-airbeam-tubes/58-airspeed-tube-600-x-10cm-at010.html

    Good and informative video, as usual. My aging bones are telling me to ditch all those poles and buy an inflatable. The Edoras 400xl is top of my list, but I'm still investigating my options. One thing I'm finding difficult is what lighting to buy. For the 1st time in my life I'm going EHU, but the sheer choice of lights is daunting. I want a brightness control because I don't like glaring lights, and a remote if possible. Any suggestions, anyone?

    Someone is trying to sell me a air vango with boston valves. Whats the difference between them and these ? Are these better?

    • @camping_guru_uk
      @camping_guru_uk  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Boston valve is very simple (look it up on youtube) and I actually like them because of the simplicity. The only issue I would say is Vango stopped selling air tents with Boston valves a long time ago. So check how old and the condition. Never buy second hand without seeing it first and make sure you know what you are looking at re the fabric as it might be at the end of its life if its that old

      A Gary Cross its sold from a uk company and has written ‘ This item has been used as a production sample only, we have inspected the item thoroughly and found it to be like new.’ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ the ringstead is like 475 so 150£ more expensive. But your are 100% correct which is why im concerned. What year did vango stop doing the boston valve?

    • @camping_guru_uk
      @camping_guru_uk  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Richard_FitPku they stopped about 6 or 7 years ago using the Boston valve.

    I think one mistake people make is they think the valve has to be open to inflate.
