One work around is to boot from a live linux usb and fix the home, root, swap partitions from terminal as shown in the video Let me find the other one if i can :)
Thank you!. I have resolved the issue by following to your instruction. Note: "reboot" doesn't work for me, so I have entered "exit" that took me to the login screen. Great job!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I don't know a thing about these things and I thought I'd have to wait for my uncle (he's an engineer) to come and look at it in 2-3 weeks 😭😭😭 this actually worked! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN
Thank you for your help, after two days searching the web, your video helped me solve the problem I had on my computer, which has Linuxmint installed. Greetings from Venezuela 🇻🇪
Unfortunately it didn’t work for me , it keeps me error when I right the command “fsck /dev/sdb8 -y “. The error: fsck : error 2(No such file or directory) while executing fsck.ext2 for /dev/sdb8
Its 2024 December 28, for the second time I have found myself at that strange menu after needing to force my system to hard reset, only this time I had a second machine to use and found this video, and unlike the first time my system has been fixed, blkid and fsck are now in my memory for next time, today I learned how to fix disk corruption and get my system up and running in no time at all, thank you! (last time I reinstalled the OS on a new disk and copied over my home drive data, took quite a bit longer)
I have zorin OS and after a restart I ended up in the mode and thought it was over, but thanks to you I am working again, thank you very much. I subscribed and left a thumb there like the bell activated. Thanks again.
Thank you so much..!! You have no idea..how much your tutorial helped me. I just got this error 30 minutes before and I have a online exam after a couple of hour. But this tutorial worked like a charm...and saved my exams..!!
