Me. And the game I remember the most is when he had that breakout performance in Cincinnati, almost like a "coming out party".
2016 was okay for him too. Set a franchise record against Detroit for yards in a playoff game if I remember correctly
Dude I loved the guy. No disrespect to Carson and penny I like em too as a tandem and they have potential...but Rawls didn't get the chance they got.

Sherman played stellar defense on AB in this game:
- Held to 6 Catches on 51 Yards
- Accumulated an INT
And this was against Brown in his prime. Sherman played physically and beat brown on all the man coverage they played. Most of his catches were short screens and on zone coverage.

Sherman was 30+ years old going against the fastest receiving core in the league what were you expecting 💀 Watkins and Hill both ran at least a 4.4 with Hill running a 4.2. Sherman is old and wasn’t fast in his prime to begin with and now he’s older and slower against the fastest receiving core in the league.

Being a Steelers fan, I remember Wheaton. He was a really good third wideout. Even good as the no 2. But he always needed AB there.

This was probably the best receiving corps in the league at the time. AB, Martavis Bryant, and Markus Wheaton. People forget how effective those last two guys were, especially Bryant. Granted they needed AB’s presence to be that effective.

I live in the PNW, watched SB 43 as a pretty young kid, and this was the first game I saw in person. Between the D giving up so many points, Heath going out in the 2nd Q, and the loss, it was a rough time

Russell Wilson tells an icky anecdote about this game. Apparently, he was having a few digestive problems. The equipment manager had to work overtime to clean Wilson's uniform pants
MRTUPAC 28 toughest ones imo. Jets/Bills 2019, chargers,saints, and raiders 2018, jags(playoffs), patriots, Ryan Shazier 2017, cowboys, eagles 2016 , suisham, Seahawks, and the triple bs (and deangelo Williams) all being out&hurt in the playoff game against Denver in 2015

@@kmccary 2012 thru 2015 were the big years for the legion of boom and that year specifically they played very well against Brady in Seattle. So imo I wouldn't point to any of those games in 2012 (when Wilson was a rookie) that he proved he could do it without the LoB

EdmacZ we took forever to build one because of so many misses in the draft and free agency. You also had until 2016 with Artie. The old mentality of not playing rookies their rookie year

The season Shazier got hurt was the year we finally built an elite defense to complement that top 3 offense in my opinion. The secondary was still iffy but people forget that defense was like top 5 at least in points allowed up until Shazier’s injury. Then it all fell apart, goes to show how Shazier was the most important player on that defense. Now in 2020 we finally have a top 3 defense once again but the elite offense of the 2010s has been gutted.

I remember we gave up huge 3rd and long conversions which set us up for failure. This Steelers defense was garbage. Hopefully the defense can stay dominate this year.
This secondary was truly the worst I have ever seen. I felt better when we got em to 3rd and 2 than 3rd and 20 because you knew that secondary couldn’t stop shit.

This game was a must win for Seattle sitting at 0.500 with Arizona running away with the division 10 games into the season. Seattle went on to win 4 of the remaining 5 games to clinch a Wildcard berth which we all remember as the Blair Walsh wide left chip shot. This was also the season that really put Doug Baldwin on the map as he finished the season with 14 receiving touchdowns!
If Ben didn’t get hurt probably woulda threw for 500 yards at least
2015 was a weird year for football, falcons go from winning to losing, Panthers almost go undefeated, broncos go to another bowl, falcons hand the panthers their first lose, cowboys are horrible, seahawks go 10-6 after going to the superbowl, and jets go 10-6. It was so nostalgic and just memorable.

They got them to 3rd and 9 literally needed one more stop to get the ball back while only needing a field goal to win. I understand why it's controvertial but it's not a bad call, one is laying everything on one down, the other on getting a stop or a turnover. If your defence is better than your offence kicking the field goal is probably the better play.

For like 4 year stretch I had the steelers in my pre season prediction to win the super bowl or make it and their defense always let them down had so much talent but couldn't do it .

Back then Seattle was known for a heavy zone coverage scheme with very little man coverage. The Steelers kept catching them napping and took full advantage of Seattles weakness. That's how Wheaton got those 200 yards..
Also Seattle was only focusing on bryant and brown
Now THIS was an underrated classic...Very good game in my opinion that a lot of people don't talk about besides Seattle and Pittsburgh fans...👍👍👍

Was at this game with my Lambert jersey on. Was one of the best games I have ever seen, back and forth the whole 2nd half. Walking out with my wife in a sea of Seattle fans I said " Legion of Boom? Ben just lit them up for about 500 yards and set a record in that stadium" Of course I was drunk and said it loud on purpose. Things got pretty fun from there for a bit!

After from last season between Seahawks vs Steelers 28-26 I kinda miss the legion of boom and Doug Baldwin because they did have a great defense that made them dominate and Doug Baldwin and Russell Wilson are the best duos if you look at how many times Russell Wilson throws the ball to Doug Baldwin and scoring a touchdown beating the other duos Brady and Gronkowski.

wheaton got those 200 yards because they played soft of him, sherman was playing man on AB with earl over top. if you notice wheaton and martavis were mostly uncovered or had one guy on them.

In this game, the Seattle Seahawks became another, from 5-5 to 10-6, a second half of the season that many did not expect, after heartbreaking defeats in which they entered the fourth quarter with the advantage.
Big AL had his moment to shine, but no luck. Lol
I'm s Seahawks fan, and at the time I liked the Steelers too so it was amazing and heartbreaking at the same time.

Crazy to think Boswell is such a solid kicker for the Steelers now but at one point was a 4th option before finding a home.
Really, really strange decision by Mike Tomlin to kick the field goal down 5, considering how aggressive he had been all game (running a fake FG earlier, as well as attempting multiple 2 point conversions). I can't see how he had faith in his defense either considering how badly they were getting gashed by Wilson, and of course that proved to be the nail in the coffin on that 80 yard TD pass to Baldwin.
The more I think about it, the more dumbfounded I am that he decided to be play it so conservative in that situation.
Man Kam Chancellor was made of steel you see how he hit Martavis my god
