I enjoyed viewing your video! I actually passed my SC Life, Accident and Health Insurance exam today and I used A.D. Banker & Company to prepare for my exam! From what you described in your video, Kaplan seems to have similar features to what A.D. Banker offers. The main difference that I noticed was that A.D. Banker offers unlimited amount of attempts for each 15 questions chapter quiz, which I found was very useful. At the end of the course, a comprehensive exam is provided and it must be passed with at least 80 percent. Another feature that I found useful with my test prep course was that it provided some test taking tips on how to prepare mentally for the exam and I saw that Kaplan offered some of those tips as well.

Hi Kenny your videos are very informative :) i was debating which pre licensing course to take and you helped me a great deal in deciding. I live in Raleigh NC. I'm already well versed in Medicare and Medicaid due to ill parents and a severely handicapped sister. My husband was also injured at work and is on SSD. I read the Medicare book each year. I have decided to get my license in Health insurance so that I can help others. My question is about the pre licensing exam and then the licensing exam. After the pre licensing exam is there a different study course an applicant needs to take or is the Health Insurance exam based off the information you have already learned in the Pre Licensing study course? Thank you Also I see study courses listed as Accident or Health and Sickness or Supplemental/ Long Term care agent. I want to specialize in Medicare. Which test prep should I take at Kaplan? Life and Health or Medicare Supplement LTC? What's the difference or do i need both? Thanks and hope I made sense.
Thanks for your reply. I love your reasoning for wanting to be in insurance. I would recommend taking the Health and Sickness as well as Medicare Supplement. The pre-licensure exam prepares you for the state exam. Once you are confident with the pre-licensure exam you can go ahead and sit for the state exam. Hope this helps!

Great video! I’m in California and signing up for my L & H on another tab as I type this! Do you have a promo code to get it that cheap? The cheapest I’m seeing is $289 in California
Hi! Email me kennyj@remedyiwb.com
@@KennyJTV already did🙌
How long did it take you to move through the life and health portion of this doing the self-guided lessons?
For both, approximately 3 weeks! But I was going super slow.
Hello! Great Video! How do you get a discount?
Thank you for watching! I had a discount through my former job!
Hey good video, I'd like to try out Kaplan but I'm going through with ExamFx because it was given to me for free. Did you take a lot of notes? If any?
Thank you for watching! I did take a lot of notes and made a ton of flash cards!
Hey, I was wondering how it went I also live in Raleigh and I’m debating on getting my licenses as well
A fellow North Carolinian! I’m from 15 mins outside of Raleigh!
@@KennyJTV I didn’t know you were from NC as well! Do you have an email or something so that I can ask you a few questions if you don’t mind of course!
How’s the insurance business going for you? I’m thinking about a career change. You can tell me that’s it’s none of my business, but I was wondering what kind of money you were making in insurance and what state you live in?
It’s going amazing! So glad I found this industry. Feel free to book a call so we can chat more:

@@KennyJTV appreciate the reply. I’m glad to see you’re still in it after 3 years.
Is there anyone that can help me with the promo code, please?
Hi kenny kenny sylvia here I suck at test taking I tend to zone out and go into tunnel vision after like 1and a half hrs worth we chatted in comments the other day in another video if you dont mind me asking what company are you with? and btw I will be going for the Florida 215
I'm a captive agent now but working on somethings for 2021! You definitely need to incorporate breaks in your study session. I never studied for more than an hour at a time.
@@KennyJTV thank you
how many questions from each Q bank chapter did you add... the default is 20... did you do something different?
yes, in the settings I adjusted it to a larger number.
Im currently taking the Kaplan online insurance adjuster course to get my insurance adjuster license in Georgia. Trying to pass it on the first try. Any tips on how to would be much appreciated thanks
How is it going for you? I live in GA thinking of purchasing Kaplan
Thanks for this!!
My pleasure!
Hey whats up man, I've been through Kaplan but I don't like their three month time out, it's basically a rental lol. So I'm looking at getting life and health and am considering Kaplan and License Coach, do you have any experience with License coach?
What’s up Asif, I did the 90 day one. I finished in time so I’m not too familiar with the license coach. You can definitely do it in less than 90 days!
@@KennyJTV Oh, gotcha thank you
I am ready to get into insurance sales. How does one find a pre licensing course? I could t find any info on my states website.
Stephanie Hollins what state are you in? Definitely a career to hop into! It is very lucrative. Hope you will subscribe if you haven’t already 🤍
I am in Louisiana.
I cannot locate on the Dept of Ins website any suggested pre licensing courses. Thanks for your reply.
Stephanie Hollins I recommend using Kaplan!
I have a question. I live in New York but I can relate for state which pays more and there are more opportunities for insurance agents. If I get property and casualty license from NYC, can I work at other states?
You absolutely can.
@@KennyJTV thanks very much
Hello I am looking into starting the P&C course. How long does it take before getting your certification. How much is the test? Did you take it at a facility or online?
Hi! Depends on which pre-licensure course you take. I did mine online. You can complete everything in 2 weeks.
Ok thank you
@@Holmesinsurancegroupllc you're welcome!
I recently bought the p&c package, I’m wondering if I score a low score on my mastery exam will I still get my certificate ? Or will I have to buy the course again?? Or can I get a refund ? Thank you !
Hi Mira! You should have the option to retake the exam.
I am SO STRESSED OUT!!!! I got hired by [said company] and they are paying for my license. But I have been given less than 2 weeks!!!!! I just don't understand it. I'm so confused. It's another language they're speaking and I don't get but a few words. I'm stressing. My test day 1 is tomorrow.
Oh wow! Don’t stress yourself out, you have to take it one day at a time! If you need help feel free to book some time with me and I can help you study. Keep me posted on how it goes!

@@juliedormeus3701 If you are consistent you can finish it all in about a week.
I thinking of going into this field. What is the best place to start.
The best place to start is looking into a pre-licensure course that would best fit you 😌
@@KennyJTV thank you for responding. I see you went with Kaplan. I see the courses on the site. On the course the cheapest did you still to purchase the manual. Or do you have any other recommendations for taking the course online?

What is the addtional Ethics package for the Kaplan insurance course ?
hey i am going to purchase p&c insurance Pre-licensing course do you have a promo code
How did you get the pricing??? I am seeing it for MUCH more now.
I did the most basic package.
When you started Kaplan how long was it before you scheduled the state exam?
2 weeks.
@@KennyJTV Thank you. I just purchased Kaplan
@@jessicarosado511 congrats, let me know how it goes!
How does Kaplan compare with let's say Pass Perfect? Both of them offer the SIE + Series 7 combo package, and I'm kind of debating between either or to buy. I do like online classes, and live instructors, but you've made a good point at how well Kaplan materials are. How would you rate the amount of material they give you, versus how much time you needed to put in on a daily basis to make sure you got through all the material?
Never heard of pass perfect? I just know Kaplan is a household name and has produced results. The gave me MORE than enough information. I dedicated about 2-3 hours a day studying. Looking back I should have done more! Hope you will subscribe!
Did you pass on the 1st try the Health and Life with your purchase of the base course of Kaplan?
A Person 2nd time for life, 1st for health. NC has them as two separate tests. Hope you will subscribe!
How is Kaplan different from an online self-paced course like LicenseCoach ?
Hi! Kaplan is an online self-paced course
@@KennyJTV Thank you! I'm just not paying nearly as much with my current program. Need to look into the differences and if Kaplan is more advantageous.
