singing "now im all alone and drifting in the dark" while surronded by light and backed up by the sun. atleast one person in this production thought about this and its perfect.
Gram Parsons once said he made 'Cosmic American Music'. Teenage Fanclub make 'Cosmic Scottish Music'. This song is a perfect example. Thanks guys, for being the soundtrack to my youth.
I listened to it when I was young and came back to listen to it when I was a father of a child over 40 years old. Teenage fan club, please leave a comment. I'm a big fan of you guys. And I am Korean. If I perform in Korea, I will leave the company and go.
How a bunch of guys from Lanarkshire can sound like that baffles me. They obviously get compared to the byrds but I think they've got better songs best Scottish band by far.
Irony is...this is meant to look all lo-fi but 15 years after this video the Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow was renovated and now is a venue for some big names every summer.
What happened to teenage angst? It was everywhere in the 90s and it's like an art classic, but now there's just netflix, tiktok and memes but nothing for the hopeless and alienated and brokenhearted to seek refuge in?
Takes a time to take off like a pelican that ate too much fish, but once in the air, it displays some grace for sure... The song that is, not the surroundings, that look quite depressive, as most area's that fell victim to taggers.
This is so pure... love this song with all my heart
I saw this video for the first time , yesterday. I've been a Fannie for over 30 years! I'm thinking we all had the World in our hands back then!
Same. First time seeing this today. Although have heard it many times.

The old Kelvingrove bandstand. Sadly going backwards due to lockdown and being labelled "unviable". Love this tune.

"I think I'm d u m b." - Kurdt Kobain
I love this. I would love it even more if I didn't have to watch stupid banners for crap artists like Rihanna every bloody time I came here.
