I actually owned a lot of these all that lawn mowing money as a kid geeze since then i bought a resin printer and have been making my own of which i would argue are actually higher quality
I'm on a kick again as a matter of fact! Id like to do more toy episodes but I don't think they align with the channel's current trajectory. Still.. its such cool stuff!
You and me both brutha! My dad made me give my stuff away because I was “too old” for it. Probably 2 G’s down the toilet. By today’s market values anyway.
Mur, excellent episode! Love how you switched it up on this one with the vintage toys. Great editing as well. Like how you inserted the classic tv commercials for each toy. Very Nostalgic. Keep em’ coming brother!
I LOVE the commercials. I cried laughing at the Hydrosled song. Thanks for all the kind words brutha! I’m glad you liked this. And I hope you wanna see more toy stuff because the market is full of that stuff right now and Im leaving money on the table if I don’t deal in it.
When I was a kid I had a giant faux-leather bag I kept all my GI-Joe's & Transformers in, this bag was huge, and weighed over 25 lbs easy. Anyways, you get older and no longer play with toys so the bag was stored in my closet at my Mom's house. Years go by and one day I think about them and look for the bag and it's missing. I ask my Mom where my bag of toys is at and she proceeds to tell me that she gave it away to some Marines a few years ago who came by and were collecting for Toys For Tots. I was devastated, and you KNOW those toys never made it to any kids to play with. :\
I’ve been there! Left a bag of G1 Transformers in the attic after I moved out and my stepdad threw em away when they moved. Probably a $3000 bag by today’s valuations!!
Yeah at a certain point all of this stuff is going to be in played with condition. That’s just to be expected I guess. But it’s still cool to get a hold of the stuff regardless!
Very nice indeed! I was never granted any wishes for vehicle lines for any Toy line growing up due to the higher cost and lack of space excuse from parents but this has to be the finest when it comes to very cool looking vehicles !?!
GIJOE & Cobra had unbelievable vehicles. And today it makes me laugh because it’s like, who’s funding these militaries?! LOL Cobra has its own space program….
That GI Joe lot is the gift that keeps on giving! Man toys were so awesome back in the day! Nothing like we see today! And yes I know I sound like Grandpa saying to kids "get off my lawn" but I don't care lol! I hope you'll find some more cool stuff this summer! Great video and keep up the good work!
The kids won’t disagree. My kids are enthralled with my vintage toys. Shizz broke down completely by around 2012. I would wander around ToysRus with Molly who was 4 at the time, for hrs and she couldn’t even find anything she wanted. Now we don’t even have ToysRus. Sad.
I am so glad to hear that, man. I am really starting to see a lot of vintage toys at the flea too So I am wanting to lean in on that action especially when games become scarce. I already have other brands of toy lots I have scored to look at in the series and I’m hoping everybody is down to watch that stuff.
Big part of my childhood as well . Any 80’s kid was into GI Joe toys comics and cartoons what’s else did you need. Mabye a themed cereal well they dropped the ball on that. I remember plenty of boxes of mr t cereal . They could of got all my parents money with that.
Mr T is still a hero of mine. I demand a 3rd Creed movie where T trains Adonis Windy City Gym style to take on a Chicagoan top rank contender. Clubber Lang will have humbled himself and became born-again in a sense. He’ll do this favor as an overdue apology to Rocky and will be an easy role for T to play. I should direct it.
Man, I got into baseball cards too around that time. I collected into the early to mid 90s when my collection got stolen and then I got out of it. But I’m back into it big time now!
Oh man, I didn't even think of all the small grooves in trying to clean some of these man. Now THAT is a task--time to put on some good music and have a strong drink on hand for that time sink. I still have a few of my Joe stuff but, as they were mine from childhood, I DID play with them so they are NOT in great condition at all...
Didn’t have a lot growing up, but I did have a little bit of everything. Never had any vehicles but had some of the gi joe figures. Also had a voltron robot (dad later sold in garage sale…), had a few smaller Transformers, tons of Hot Wheels/Matchbox (probably because they were so cheap), Z-Bots, and He-Man. The stuff I had the most of were TMNT and Jurassic Park/Lost World. I’ve gotten rid of most the stuff because I’m not much of a toy collector. I did keep the TMNT stuff I liked the most and all of my JP stuff which I do actively collect for still. I also had some Congo figures and still have those; which I’ve recently acquired the entire toy line(it’s not that big, but does feel good to have a complete collection of something)
TMNT toys were super cool too and I scored a big lot of that in a storage locker deal. We’re gonna hopefully look at that on the show too. I didn’t have any Voltron but boy it was cool. I got really into Robotech. And definitely did some HeMan too.
I've got a line on a huge GiJoe lot as well but I'm in the middle of moving so it had to wait for now but it'd a childhood friends collection and the deal he offered is too good to pass up! Your deal tou git is amazing !
I found a galvatron, 2 optimus primes and a kup g1 transformer recently. Also came with some modern transformers. Randomly also found some g1 ponies lmao. too good to pass up! I had a bunch of these joes and still do but I have to replace the orings on most of them.
Galvatron is a killer find!! Yeah these joes need new o rings. The rubber just dry rots over time. But aside from that the figures were in decent shape and I know some of the pieces mixed in here are their gear.
That helicopter is wicked and it looks like there’s two in this lot. The collection belonged to a guy and his brother so there’s two of some things allegedly. But yeah this series is so cool and thanks for watching this episode!!
I wonder how many of the missles and other small accessories have some 3D printable files online? I didn't have any GI joe growing up but I watched the cartoon plenty.
Oh man I had a bunch of it! That, transformers, Battle Beasts, Wheeled Warriors and HeMan. And that’s a good point on the 3D printables! I have a guy for that!
Let’s go ! Not into toys well not yet hope not. games are expensive and idk what to tell the old lady no more she might leave me if I start collecting toys !lol sick episode man enjoyed it a lot . I’ll keep an eye out for sure I’ll send them your way if I find anything cool. Picked up Pokémon crystal for 5 dollars today at the flea she had no idea : also a gun con still in box time crises 3 for 3 dollars both cables included no game but that’s alright . Some cool x box and ps2 games .
Great snag on that crystal! Haven’t found that in the wild since over a decade ago. I do like vintage toys. I can’t collect em all like the games because there’s no space. But we can keep some and do the catch n release on the rest!
How many of these toys did YOU own?? Would you buy them again at these prices? Comment below and don’t forget to like 👍 and subscribe!!
I actually owned a lot of these all that lawn mowing money as a kid geeze since then i bought a resin printer and have been making my own of which i would argue are actually higher quality
Wow, custom made Joes?! That’s freaking awesome. I’d like to see a video on that!
Love those classic 80's G.I. Joe TV commercials and equally love your own personal rendition of them!
I'm on a kick again as a matter of fact! Id like to do more toy episodes but I don't think they align with the channel's current trajectory. Still.. its such cool stuff!
Great collection! I wish I still had all my old GI Joe stuff from back in the day.
You and me both brutha! My dad made me give my stuff away because I was “too old” for it. Probably 2 G’s down the toilet. By today’s market values anyway.
I had the devil fish growing up. That’s awesome that the tron figures and bike paid for the lot. I am loving toys right now.
Me too, man. Seeing a lot of em out hunting lately and I’m gonna lean into it harder. Games are scarce so I gotta make dat bread yo. LMAO

have that sky sweeper, but its just the tracks and seat, painted.. lol Has nothing attached anymore. Well loved.

Loved the show and the toys too!! Wish I kept most of my toys. My brother still has his Night Raven in complete condition.
Your brother is wise!! My dad made me donate all my stuff because I was “too old” for it. Lol so I buy it back at 43. LOLOL
@@Emceemur same here 😁
Very nice Mur. I had the Devil Fish back in the day. The others came out after I stopped collecting them and got more interested in baseball cards.

Labor of love, baby!! I scored a TMNT lot too that’s at least half the size of this lot, for mere peanuts. Gonna be a sick azz video!!

The G.I. Joe Future Fortress is sick. Hopefully you can get all of them to form it.
The commercials crack me up. The music is so intense!
@@Emceemur you nailed the singing 😆
LMAO I forgot I dunn that shizz!!

Love seeing the cleaning videos, nice work
I so wanna do more of these videos. I have a whole other lot of 80s toys to go through, as well as a TMNT lot from the original 1989 line.
@@Emceemur you should! I'd watch. I'd also watch the game and console rehab too.
Great vid Mur! Well put together.👍🤘
Thanks dude! I had fun making it! 80s toys are the BEST.
The much anticipated update is here!!
Mur Nation rising up
Rising up like the Falcons. Martha wants em to win that game tomorrow.
On the Devilfish commercial song all I could think of was you cackling.
