What an ethereal look! I would imagine there are professions where people have to be appear with minimal makeup. I’m thinking about doctors, nurses, dentists and even some office workers have to keep it subtle. Thanks for sharing! ❤

i recently purchased this and i'm still waiting for it in the mail, but i find most eyeshadow looks tend to be heavy on me so most days i just like to contour my eye and provide some definition rather than doing an eyeshadow look and adding pinks (it doesn't suit my face). i'm looking forward to using it to contour multiple parts of my face e.g. under the bottom lip, the nose etc. and it looks super unique. i can also understand those who say it's too cool-toned and grey :) but i suppose there's a palette for everyone! i like how it has gentle drops of brown and purple but also it can be used to tone down existing eyeshadows you might own. thank you for your wonderful review!

It is truly wonderful for all the reasons you mentioned. It’s so versatile and I also like to contour other parts of my face when I want a more structured look. I’m really excited for the fall and winter time because I tend to enjoy smokier tones during those times and will use it even more then!🥹

uau that palette it's very unique! and love the soft pigmentation. now a days its so hard to find a palette that have that kind of pigmentation. i feel kinda sad when people say it sucks.
I like that this palette is not over the top since I feel like it makes this “intimidating” color story more approachable!
I get why some people may not like these tones. But I’m very glad to have it in my collection! ^^
I think this palette would be great with bright, or highly saturated lip colors. Sometimes when I have eyeshadow on, my saturated lip tints make the whole thing too over-the-top. This gray palette might let the lips take center stage.

I really like kbeauty shadows since they are not extremely over the top pigmented and are easily blendable.
As someone who also does makeup on other people this is such a great palette that offers nice cool shades to do eyelooks and nose contour and even brows!
So if anyone thinks about getting this one definitely do!

I prefer a more buildable soft formula which is why I tend to grab kbeauty palettes the most. And this one is just so so fantastic. I’ve been using it like crazy recently in combination with a mauve blush and lip and it’s perfect for my cool toned skin 🥹
So true! I have many cooler glitters etc. but mattes are just as important so this palette really *delivered* 🤌🏻🫶🏻

We might have similar seasonal color. Are you neutral leaning towards cool? I am choosing between dusty fog and shade & shadow but I don't know how to use those grayish white colors on the bottom lol
I’m indeed neutral to cool toned :)!
I’ve seen the two palettes next to each other and the shade & shadow is definitely a warm(er) palette. It may be easier to work with than these light grey shades at them bottom are. I tend to use them when I want a true grey and Smokey look. They are very soft so you can apply them lightly as a base for example.
I also thought about buying the shade & shadow many times but there are some shades that pull too reddish pink and I know I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.
Maybe you could also check out the Etude Autumn Closet palette if you haven’t? It’s a neutral palette with muted tones that don’t pull too grey. It’s my all time favorite neutral palette because it always looks fantastic on the eyes and matches literally everything. Just a little recommendation 🤍
