I've been in a real depressed state as of late. These daily videos spark bits of passion in me that I haven't felt in years. While the tasks in the videos may appear mundane to you or others, to me it's a brief respite from trying times. Sometimes you get wind in your sails from the inspiration you gather from others -- these videos do just that. Much love from American.

Michael, I cannot be the only one who is HOPING DESPERATELY that you will upload some of the vlogs you created in your early years! I am sure multitudes want to see them! There are technicians who specialise in transferring VHS/BET to disc. It is an industry especially for weddings etc. My understanding is that it is not overly expensive, though I have not had one done myself. Loving your art! Thank you for the video!
Great idea about selling the watercolors. I see so many people asking you to do this and I think they will sell fast! Will be fun to watch you do some painting. I think I remember at the beginning of your vlogs you painted a view of the chapel / gardeners cottage. It was so pretty. My knees would give out if I had to do 85 steps to my room every day. Dang arthritis.
Linda I know the feeling, but 6 years ago I had both knees replaced, pain gone... from the knees! People just don't understand how painful Arthritis is...
For me it would be my hip. Sad to say that in order to become a good/ great equestrian. One must learn how to fall off first, then of course get back on and do it all again.... Not usually a problem when you are 7 or 8, .....50 years later , well that's a different story. My apartment is on the fourth floor. 😱

So excited that you are going to hang your paintings in the cottage. I had a wonderful instructor in design school that gave us great tips for hanging multiple pieces of art together. If possible, layout the pieces on the floor near where they are going to be hung. Begin with the largest piece in the center and build the composition around it. The bottom row of artwork should be hung at the same level which creates an even "horizon line." This anchors the whole group of pictures. The top of the composition can be uneven. Think of it this way, it is calming to look at an even horizon where the earth meets the sky and interesting to see the uneven cloud formations above. When working with the pieces, take pictures of the various compositions you develop to decide which one works best.
Ok Michael so now that you had the opportunity to learn the design process you can take your design to the "Gardner's Cottage" on plates and mugs and TABLECLOTHS! Don't do it for money but do it for passion, the creativity and the wonderment. 😊😊

Tip for your apples: if you got a lot of apples one year, it helps to pluck a lot of them before they are ripe. This way the ones you leave on will get bigger and taste better (like with your tomatos). Also do the same thing with the blossoms, otherwise they let free hormones that will prohibit a lot of apples from starting to grow. Got these tips from a friend in Italy who has an apple farm, so hope it helps you out :)

I agree with everyone else who have commented on your designs. You could produce limited editions of stationary, cards, wrapping paper, scented lining paper and possibly fabrics for sale. Maybe create a children’s book about your bear living in the cottage.
Wow the clip at the very end of the tea and the bear would be another beautiful picture to paint. I would buy a whole book of your water colour paintings. So lovely!

Karma dictates that someone who is creative, talented, artistic, hard working, and has that spark of genius inside themselves will go on to make many more incredible designs for many more applications. Someone who lacks those things but will hijack someone else's designs, exploiting their friendship and trust, knows that is the only way they will ever have any source material to put into production. Any success they achieve from it has to feel empty and fraudulent. Michael, you have many fortunes worth of designs living inside you and this has been a lesson well learned. Thank you for making sure we knew the truth.

I would keep ahold of every piece of paper demonstrating each stage of the creative process, any formal documents relating to your work with them, etc because people like that don't like their names to be tarnished with some choosing to take any legal action possible. Michael, design a wallpaper for the a bedroom in the chateau, paper the room in it and use it as a showcase for purchasers. It would be wonderful to see the wallpaper in an actual room and helps drive sales. Also be a great way of leaving your mark on the chateau. Love to see you back to your self.

Tip for your apples: if you got a lot of apples one year, it helps to pluck a lot of them before they are ripe. This way the ones you leave on will get bigger and taste better (like with your tomatos). Also do the same thing with the blossoms, otherwise they let free hormones that will prohibit a lot of apples from starting to grow. Got these tips from a friend in Italy who has an apple farm, so hope it helps you out :)
We do the same thing with fresh dates!
He told us it rained on and on. The blossoms were ruined and they are left with rotten 🍎🍎🍎

I agree with everyone else who have commented on your designs. You could produce limited editions of stationary, cards, wrapping paper, scented lining paper and possibly fabrics for sale. Maybe create a children’s book about your bear living in the cottage.

The wall paper is fabulous!! You could make a print of the Lily pad design and some photos of the gardens and sell them.

Man, Michael is serious about his bay leaves! It's these kind of details that are one of the fun things about watching him. He never wants to settle for "good enough", if there's any way he can do better. Admirable.

I can only imagine how time consuming and difficult it must be to creat content, edit and upload each day, but you and Andrew are doing an amazing job. What maybe just daily life for you, is so interesting to so many of us. Your talent, passion and authenticity really shine through. Please keep these going Michael. As many other viewers and supporters have said, I would buy your art, wall paper, cards etc.
I agree with Ian. I think you are doing a great job! I tried to film a knife sharpener that I have. It is not all that easy. Keep it up.
Karma dictates that someone who is creative, talented, artistic, hard working, and has that spark of genius inside themselves will go on to make many more incredible designs for many more applications. Someone who lacks those things but will hijack someone else's designs, exploiting their friendship and trust, knows that is the only way they will ever have any source material to put into production. Any success they achieve from it has to feel empty and fraudulent. Michael, you have many fortunes worth of designs living inside you and this has been a lesson well learned. Thank you for making sure we knew the truth.

Your introduction reel was obviously an inspired move; very well done. Love the visits to the other Chateau owners. Really very much enjoyed seeing the renovation work on your brother’s chateau. Loved your cottage makeover! Do keep up the effort, it will reward you well in the end!
I would keep ahold of every piece of paper demonstrating each stage of the creative process, any formal documents relating to your work with them, etc because people like that don't like their names to be tarnished with some choosing to take any legal action possible. Definitely keep it all nice and safe, Michael. I hope that one day your creative talent really gets a moment to shine and even better, pays all the bills. Big hugs from Australia. x
