Haha, with TOP you always have to watch til the very, very end... 😉 LOVED watching you two smile and bop along! This one's awesome and perfectly epitomizes TOP - catchy beat, deep meaningful lyrics. The little gremlins are Ned (from Chlorine) and his fam. For me they represent the creativity and inspiration Ty and Josh find in the fans. The video cave campfire scene imitates what they did in their recent tour. They sat around a campfire with us (they were still on stage, of course) and just played aucoutic versions, Tyler on his uke and Josh on a Box with the backing band they had for this tour. Intimate setting in a room full of thousands. Was awesome! Tyler said someone told him not to do that for a show, that it wouldn't work. Hah! *cue Lane Boy lyrics here!! They're so down to Earth. Unassuming just like you two. That's why we ❤ them. And you two ❤ :) ❤️|-/💛🔥🧡🔥
You definitely have to watch Twenty One Pilots "I am Clancy" video, that was released before the Overcompensate video. It explains the lore/storyline in a but over 4 minutes. Really helpful for everyone who didn’t follow the lore closely.
Josh always appearing in random places with his drums 😂…… this must be so confusing for you. I hope Corporate Goth has you lined up with the I am Clancy video before overcompensate -a story so far ( kinda like in SPN 😜) recap. This was one of my favourites off of SAI immediately just a groovy tune but if you actually dive into the lyrics still deep af, I have a theory that the whole SAI storyline gave them a chance to just create some music that was a little different using other influences they have. Ty mentioned Billie Joel, Elton John etc as artists that he enjoyed piano wise that influenced these songs
That wasn’t the end… you literally missed the Nico and the Niners flashback at the end 😂
On their MTV unplugged they actually say they love to "nerd out" ( just like you said) and they have a notebook to follow their plan!
I loved what u talked about because in thisnsong he mentions their "meteoric rise"
