El Paso, Elsewhere is, simply put, an incredible game. Every aspect is meticulously crafted and works in perfect harmony with the rest. It nails practically everything it tries to do. I expected it to be a lot of fun to play, but I did not expect it to be anywhere near as compelling. I wonder how long I'll be rotating James in my head like I've put him in a microwave...

max payne + control with the 1/8 budget:)
thought the same xD
pretty cool
I just finished it. The writing and directing in this game is the best in games bar none.
It's insane. Anyone interest, check youtube for the game's intro sequence.
For me, this game is everything that a From Dusk Till Dawn game should have been... It looks great!!!
i absolutely adore the level of guts it takes to make a movie-like game with deliberately low-poly graphics. like eat your heart out Last of Us 2 and Max Payne 3 or whatever, they told the same kind of story with 5% the budget, .0001% the labor hours, and a several orders of magnitude fewer polygons. cool.
Max Payne is that you 😮
Probably fell onto his own nightmare
Definitely picking this up. Ive been wanting my Max Payne fix lately but the first and second game require more modding than I care to deal with to get it working
Well done. Great review
this definitely looks up my alley
Would LOVE to see this on Switch; properly optimized of course
Sold!
Bought it on steam, will try on steam deck next week after I finish Nier Automata
Looks pretty kewel
Voice acting is fantastic. The story is very good. The original rap style songs were amazing. The game is too long and the last few hours feel repetitive though. It’s an 8 hour game that should’ve been 5.
Sold, sold, sold! I want my Max Payne back. Unfortunately, Rockstar has become a joke of a developer and they will never release another game of that caliber again.
I am buying this as soon as I get home for my Xbox Series X. The only thing I don't care for is the Akimbo nonsense. I know, I know, the game was inspired by John Woo films. It's okay, I never liked it when Payne did it either unless it was 2 sub-guns in close proximity to his enemies. Other than that Max Payne I+II were absolutely flawless in my eyes and while Max Payne III was very, very good it was over far too quickly. This game has Max Payne written all over it.
Remedy is planning remakes of mp1 and 2, however, i guess with AW2 on the way theyre not really working on it right now.
Why is the footage so blurry?
It's September. What do you mean summer?
September is still part of the Summer cycle.
@@5orskysorsky338 Fall.
Still summer
No it’s not. Fall starts 21-23 September so it’s Fall now.

Depends on where you are.
It’s definitely still summer in Japan
I think you need to learn your seasons; it’s not Summer lol.
I think you need to stop being a dick.
September is still part of summer.
You’re basically hazing him for saying summer just because the official end of summer was a couple of days ago when this review was probably already written and it’s still hot like summer where the reviewer lives.
Give it rest.
Great story, visual, audio, but gameplay is boring, repetitive, and slow mo is not necessary at all. I remember I didn't use it frequently while I was blasting vampires
Lose the rap tracks and the game would be a ton better
The music sounds hooorrible
Stfu it was one of the best parts
I love the rap tracks. To each its own I guess.
