The best way to get 9999 coins is going to Balloon world and going to a bonus money world. Then from there you go and play the top one. The one that pays you the most and costs the most. I got from 4000 to 9999 by just going to balloon world in about 10-25 minutes.

Earlier I used to play sunshine I totally got crazy I always played the game for hours and finally I got 120 shines but...
Than I got sad that now my favorite game is over(I completed it) then I got super Mario galaxy 2 it was not that fun as sunshine but still great and all above that its been 2 years I have played sunshine again but still I remember its music even all chapters' names and that's because its music was very catchy and every chapter was unique in itself.
Edit : And mostly who don't remembers the music played when you get a shine? And the animation?

I could draw the island with one hand blindfolded i loved it that much. I played it for fun, no matter how buggy of a mess it was. I don't know why it wasnt as popular. It was the epitome of my childhood. I was 4. I loved everything about it. Music, graphics, levels.

You know getting 999 moons and the secret ending in Odyssey is 5 times harder than getting all 18 memories and the secret ending in Breath of the Wild. Classic Nintendo.

The memories you get along the gameplay, it takes around 30 hours, the the moons are the games biggest grind, of course it will take longer, the koroks take way longer

I'm totally gonna need more coins. I finished the main quest and once I left my Switch on by accident when I put it into the dock, and the joycon was tilted left, so Mario kept falling into lava at the Luncheon Kingdom and I lost all my coins.

Shawn Shock Pretty sure there is a cap, 116 moons from the shop due to the total being 883.
The 116 doesn't include the moons you can purchase during the story.
Im pretty sure the most you can have is 999 moons

I had misread how many moons there were available in game, so had bought about 40 more moons from the store than I needed - only realising when I reached 999 with still about 40 in game moons to get. So yeah, the store will let you buy as many as you like. Just means that when you reach 999 any moons you find in game after that don't get added to the Odysseys total. They go in and do the animation and whatever, but the counter doesn't climb

3 Use the rocket flowers to jump
Tip: There are secret levels in the Snow Kingdom and Wooded Kingdom
4 Go to store to collect 999 moons

I got a fast way that can be done before you reach toastarena. 1. Go to the cascade kingdom.
2. Destroy the breakable rock with the chain chomp immediately after the first moon.
3. Go in the pipe.
3a. Get the moon
3b. get the checkpoint
4. Look behind that area, you should see a staircase that leads to a door.
5. Go through the door.
6. Kill all the enemies (with t-Rex)
7. Collect the moon.
8. Go to the area behind where you found the dinosaur, there should be an alcove with breakable rocks.
9. Break those fuckers
10. Collect the moon.
11. Repeat steps 6-10 until you get as many coins as you want. (Coins max at 9999).

If you finished the story mode then turn in assists mod so you will always have 6 hearts and if you fall the world you don't loose coins

Beardbear actually in super Mario odyssey after you beat bowser for the 2nd time once you get 1000 golden coins and you go to the yellow crazy cap and you choose to buy a moon you will see that buy 10 will be lit up

So is there a point in getting 100% Power Moons for each kingdom or is just buying them post game from the shop have the same effect? I mean, it's nice to see the number turn yellow after you completed everything in each kingdom, but does it do anything except make you feel good about getting everything?
If you actually get all the power moons from each kingdom the sail of the Odyssey will turn gold and a portrait of Bowser will appear in the Wedding Hall in the Moon Kingdom. Jumping into it let's you play a harder version of the finale with an ending that's...completely unchanged. The ONLY difference in the ending is that you get a postcard after the credits, Super Mario Sunshine style.

If I bought say, like 10 moons from a store, will I not be able to do some of the moon missions and get the 100% achievement?

I don't know if this is a better way to get coins but you could just play the festival again and again in metro kingdom, you can get about 250 coins. Or at least from my experience.

I Got Mario Odyssey Yesterday On Wednesday February 26
does buying 10 moons at a time post game take away from hidden moons or is it just something you have to do? like you still have to find the hidden moons but the store bought moons are ones that are separate.

Rico Fly I think when you buy a moon it makes the one you bought already collected. For instance if I buy the first moon in the game and I go try to collect it in the level it will appear as already collected.
So do the moons you buy replace moons you haven't got yet. So if you but a moon then do a challenge you've never done before could the moon be grey as of you've done it before?

If you start off with no coins, you would need to do the special stage 56 times to get 9999 coins
I’m used to doing this I did the New Donk City thing though
What kingdom do the moons count for? Do they fill up other kingdom's moon counts?
On pre-game it all counts for bowser’s kingdom only
On post-game it counts for every kingdom
