Changes to Ballistic since the launch of this video:
Season 20:
Sling Weapons now have all White attachments when equipped
Tempest effect radius for ally increased to 90m (was 13m)
Season 18:
Reduce delay before overheated weapon starts cooling down to 1S (From 2S)
Reduce how long it takes an overheated weapon to cooldown to 8S (From 12s)

I really like his whistler, its so fast and basically free damage, you can lock on to someone and if they run behind cover it will go around it to hit them usually
I actually really like him being on my team especially that ultimate

I’d say the re45 should also be included in those weapons of op-when-in-ult. Especially in a coordinated squad, you’re able to clean up any prior shots your team has done resulting in cleaning up fights much quicker.
I have to agree, especially since his ult gives the RE-45 hammerpoint rounds.
Also faster movement speed, which is already fast when ads'ing with it

Honestly he’s arguably the best assault legend right now. His kit is so powerful and it’s sad that he isn’t really gonna be meta just because the assault class isn’t as useful as a recon/support legend.
Nobody that knows how to play the game would agree with that opinion. Bangalore is S tier right now and the only recon worth running is Seer.
@@guitarfreak9410 And people who are actually good at the game would agree with my opinion. Gunskill is the center of apex and ballistics ult alone enhances the gunskill of you and your teammates. Not to mention that bang has almost no team utility since her smokes can actually hurt her own team. Also idk if you read patch notes but they bascially butchered seers recon capability so he wont stay that picked for long.
@@user-wh4fx4cn1tyh seer right now is really really hard to use now outside of his ult. ballistic is good for pubs, but his kit really depends on the ultimate

The devo is my favorite sling weapon. Not only do you get the turbo and gold mag but you also get the gold barrel stabilizer which basically turns it into a laser with almost no recoil. I've melted entire teams with it and even outplayed Sheilas head on.

I love your videos… you always post tips that i didnt know and no-one else talks about (ie smart bullet on the ground only does 5 damage instead of 20)… keep up the quality content!

I love carrying a havoc in the sling getting a turbo and purple mag in the middle of a push is so clutch

Ballistic is especially good for ranked as he allows you to save ammo with his ult in final zone and mop up those last minute third parties with 4 solos pushing you he’s amazing if you pair a Newcastle or catalyst or caustic with em for those extra bunker down abilities

On god this was me today . After switching from Loba, I won my first 2 games with Ballistic and I’m pretty garbage
I love having a Flatline/R301 on primary, Sentinel on secondary and then a shotgun on the sling.
Gives you effective range on all distances and the shotguns are already really capable stock, especially the Mastiff.
With his ult, you can practically become a discount Octane with the shotguns if you've got the close range.

I love running the havoc with no ammo since you don't have to worry about finding a turbocharger with his ult
The RE-45 in Ballistic Tempest sling as a panic moment saver is clutch.
I'd like to add since his ultimate has a fast cool down time it's good to use when you need to escape and reset in certain situations

I noticed when you run a sub machine gun In the sling it's really only useful for a push. But if you carry. Nemesis in one of the normal two slots you still benefit from the speed boost and infinite ammo but now you have mid range poking power. And if need be you can still pull out the slinged 99. I've been using the ult that way to reserve ammo while breaking rampart walls down as fast as she puts them up.
Ehh i see what your getting at but bot as optimal as other tactics especially as assault carrys that extra stack
Been running around with Rev, Octane, and Ballistic just for the toxic third party moments. Its pretty hilarious.
I LOVE the re45 as the sling. I don’t mind using it without attachments (but realistically I’m not always switching to my sling mid fight) and it’s crazy during the ult. Then using the R301 with a shotgun (preferably PK) is my ideal loadout for Ballistic
Edit: I also found a good comp for Rank to be bloodhound, ballistic, and Gibby. It allows you to hunt teams down w/ bloodhound, use ballistic’s ult for the team fighting and Gibby is there for defense, or reset if there’s a third party. The only downside is the lack of rotation, but that’s where Evac towers come in lol

lol, ballistic sounds op on paper, but with the legends we have, he balances out quite easily
thanks i needed some help of really getting into what all of the moves did.
So my load out for ballistic is Flatline and triple take with an l star in the sling. That gold l star melts.

So I’m close to unlocking my second character on PlayStation and I don’t know who to get but people have suggested to get ballistic because he’s easy so I wanted to ask you guys if ballistic is easy and if not who would you recommend for a person who want to be aggressive but help he’s team so he’s not useless and dead meat

If only he knew back then that now ballistic can get 2 shots, 3 times the time on whistler and other crap
I feel like he is good paired with rev totem. Unlimited ammo, movement buff, and an extra life. Death combo
I think one of the cooler aspects of him as a legend is how his abilities actually work with the abilities of other legends to create interesting team play styles. A rev push by itself is irritating for sure but combined with a ballistic ult it’s terrifying.

Wonder why Ballistic isn't popular at all. He seems to be a neat legend with some unique abilities
So I need clarification on this point. If ballistic throws tactical at the ground, are enemies ONLY affected if the walk INTO the bubble? What about if the enemy is inside the bubble when it spawns?
No if they stand still it won’t hit them even if the bubble pops up around them
Is there a way to cancel the tactical? I've had a couple times that I hit it to try ahd see if a team is in range but then I'm unable to hit anyone

What you think of this team comp with ballistic?
Idea is to identify weak squads and eliminating them with a quick push.
[ ] Vantage, Balistic, Ash
Identifying 2-player squads:
Ash's "Marked for Death"; Vantage's "Spotter's Lense".
Weakening one of the enemy players: Vantage's "Sniper's Mark"; Ballistics "Whistler".
Quick & deadly push: Ballistics "Weapon Enhancer" buff; Ash's "Phase Breach" (or Vantage uses "Echo Relocation if seperated from others eg due to sniper position).

Not a fan of the changes to how battle pass xp/progression is rewarded now, I'm not what you would consider a great player but I'm pretty sure there's plenty of us about that still enjoy the game and help fill the lobbies.
Progress on battle pass is now crawling along for me and has put me right off investing any more money into the game.
