    It’s a great upgrade for the s4 if you don’t go further than stage “2+” don’t buy the full kit because more coolant does not fix the heating issue, and takes the same time to heat up with the small amount of coolant. The only thing is to improve the flow itself. If you only drive work miles it’s not really needed but if you like to drive as the s4 is intended the electric pump upgrade and disconnect from the ecu is the best upgrade.

    MercRacing heat exchangers come with self tapping screws, so no extra drilling needed

    What tune did you go with? I’m looking at Unitronic stage 3 makes 493hp and 441tq compared to aprs 498 and 444 with the ultra charger. I don’t think it’s worth spending the extra $1000 on the ultra charger for that small difference. IE is another one I was looking at but they only seem worth it if I’m running e40 blend and I don’t lol. Those apr and Unitronic numbers were for 93oct fuel

    Probably a newb question, is a heat exchanger like an intercooler for a supercharged car?

    • @IgnitionTube
      @IgnitionTube  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s like a secondary radiator, carries coolant to the S/C!

    • @MrCodySchmidt
      @MrCodySchmidt 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh gotcha! Where does it sit in the coolant system? Just right after the radiator?

      IgnitionTube hey so if im just using my car for just for daily driving so if i was interested in getting awe heat exchanger i can just get the heat exchanger without the expanded package? Cause i really didn't feel like spending like 1500 for a whole kit. By the way love your videos keep up the good work.
