This Song has many Citypop-Vibes. Citypop was a genre in the 80s in Japan. In the last years this genre has get a little revival. In K-Pop you can find here Yukika, Yerin Baek and the last Comeback from Yubin. In the USA Citypop is growing too as Vapore Wave. In Europe we oversleep this trend again. ;(

Great band, but I'm a little bit disappointed with those two songs...something feels missing. You need to check other songs though! Check Abracadabra (obviously! LEGENDARY SONG!) and Kill Bill, Warm Hole and Sixth Sense :) I also really recommand solo Bbi Rhi Bba Bba by Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls ...still I'm waiting for more 2ne1! They represent that visually by presenting you with a bunch of free-ass individuals. The aesthetic influence is like, 1920’s cinema, glam rock, horror camp (think Rocky Horror Picture Show) and 80’s drag balls. Musical influences I can pick out are Prince, Bowie, Madonna, some disco, BEG’s early stuff... The vibe is celebrating change! This bit from the lyrics is like a thesis statement when paired with the visuals: “Since I met you Everything was changing Yeah the way you talk The way you see You make me wonder If this is a dream” The Sixth Sense would be the next BEG song I would listen to after this. I understand that you want a raw reaction but I don't think viewers should research for you and explain who the group you are reacting are. I think it would be interesting if AFTER the raw reaction you do the research while recording and comment of what you discover about the group, because you will get a full perspective of the song/vibe/history of the group and would let know old/unknown groups to the new audiences that may don't know about them. Both of the new videos are great but I found song wise Abandoned is stronger than this one. It needed more of a chorus and wish the rap was longer. As many mentioned already, Kill Bill and Sixth Sense are great. Gain's Paradise Lost and Carnival (The Last Day). Lastly JeA's Dear Rude (feat. Cheetah). Both Gain and JeA are the members of BEG.
