What the poster says about the Clearwater Beach is pretty much true. There's a lot to do and it's great for families. Try to park in the parking garage a little to the north of the main traffic circle or park on the street one or two miles to the north. The water is not cold - actually, it's abnormally warm as anyone who follows climate change news knows quite well. I've lived here just under 10 years and have been to this beach countless times. I have never, in my life, ever seen it this crowded. Lots of summer tourists, I guess. I was just there (Oct. 5th) and there was barely anyone there and the weather was PERFECT! Sunsets are usually amazing. The beach isn't as nice as it used to be and we rarely go to that beach...mostly related to the people...lots of garbage on the beach but only when very crowded. I really wish vloggers wouldn't fake the blue color of the water here. The water at Clearwater Beach looks nothing like that. It's mostly light gray with a tinge of green in color and not clear because of all the sand that gets kicked up by the surf. Even so, it's still a nice beach and worthy of a vacation trip.

Very beautiful beaches, but no one enters the sea because of the cold water, they have to come to the Mayan shores with warm waters, why go so far, we have everything here, friendly people, the best cuisine in the world, viva México cabrones 😅
