My mehran 2006 lost In 2007 and. Was reccovered in 2019 from mianwali by anti car lifting thana gulburg Lahore ,now thanks God it is to me, regards
14:35 Not only expensive items make a car attractive, sometimes cheap items also get the attraction of thieves. A friend of mine, few years ago, parked his Mehran in Lahore. It was hot day, he had put a chilled cold drink 1.5 Liters inside the car. They broke the glass, and took away nothing but that bottle :P

Very useful and informative video as usual. In 2017, I was at friend's house and parked my Mehran in the street. I had put China Ka Tala in the steering column and my car had central locking system with alarm. We were busy in discussions and I heard the car alarm two or three times and my friends also noticed it and told me to check out my but I ignored it saying that it might be children, which was unusual because it was around 11 PM in winter. My friends said it's too late for children in the freezing cold and I told them that stray dogs might have collided with the car and triggeredthe alarm system. Anyhow, after we ended the gupshap and we went out from the place, I stopped near a bank for ATM when I noticed rubber mouldings were missing from the rear side door window and mouldings on roof were also tried to be ripped off. Someone had tried to open the doors or they might have opened its successfully and the China Wala Tala in steering column and the alarm system had discouraged and deterred them. From that day I got more cautious about the car because Mehran was a easy target and good for thefts. I don't know if the steering lock works for vitz or not but I will try it. Breaking that steel lock is nearly impossible because reach the steering column to open the lock or break it is quite difficult. I would also suggest never to turn off the alarm because I heard someone that thieves in Karachi usually hit the cars, parked in streets, to trigger the alarm and force the car owners to turn it off to avoid disturbance.
