Djokovic has won the MAJORITY of his titles from 2018 to present! That means he's peaking/getting even better the older he gets! There's literally no other explanation!

@prempititantipool3075 Yes but the opponents djokovic had from 2020 and after weren't as good as the ones federer had when he was past 30s. And we should also recognize that the weak era that federer had to face were players like agassi, Hewitt, roddick, Ferrero, safin players having won slams.

Djokovics level in the SF and F of WTF 2023 was amazing, he really managed to make the life of the younger generations tough and hopefully he can keep doing that for a few more years.
I personally think the Medvedev match here is a little out of place though, it wasn't exactly a beatdown and Medvedev was far from a top player back then. Maybe that match should have been replaced by their Adelaide 1 SF (if slams don't count here, otherwise AO 2021 is a good one) or by a match against someone else like against Zverev in WTF 2018 RR or against Tsitsipas at Rome 2022 or Madrid 2019 finals.

@@Tennis_Expert Look, there's no denying Djokovic's the greatest. The numbers speak for themselves. But leave fanatism aside... Saying Carlos' is in his prime is absolute bullshit given his age. It might be, but it's too early to say and it's actually unlikely that it is. Look at Nole's prime. He wasn't nearly as successfull as Carlos at his age. That doesn't mean Carlos will end up surpassing him (I actually doubt that), but disregarding his wins because of age or saying he's in his prime is total bullshit. Nole has recently had some of his best years and this is both due to his insane fitness, genius tactics and the less veteran competition. Let's be real, if Nadal or Federer were as physically fit as him, the story would be different. Rafa has the highest conversion rate out of anybody for the amount of times he has compited in grand slams, by a mile... That means, Nole and Federer have compited a lot more times than him in grand slams, just to tie up his record. Look it up, it's not even close. It doesn't take away from Nole, because the way he's gotten to surpass everyone in history, is by being the most consistent, taking good care of his body, adjusting his game style so he stays at the top. Very intelligent, but not the highest level that someone has ever achieved or the most talented. If we talk about raw talent, there are better players... He's the best because he's consistent and that has made him the most achieved. But stop the fanatism. Nadal and Carlos are the most talented players to ever come on a tennis court, and their premature and super fast conversion rate shows that. The numbers back this up. How many tournaments did it take for Rafa to achieve 3 grand slams? What about Carlos? Now what about Nole? What age was he? So yeah, Nole is the greatest because of his consistency, but stop being a fanatic. I hate fans like you... undermining the achievements of other players to put Nole ahead. I like both of them, because of what each have done, but some people like you only see numbers. Well, if that's the case you have to compare them by age, and in that case Nole at Carlos' age was literally nothing compared to Carlos right now. Does that sound unfair? It's because it is!! Given what we now know about current Djokovic, but then so is talking about Carlos' prime and all that lol... let him end his career first.
Carlos, Sinner and other youngsters might be fierce, but they don't have the years of experience that Nole has and that sometimes shows, though recently it's starting to be more equal. Also if not for Carlos' cramps during Roland Garros last year the H2H would be different, specially in Grand Slams. He didn't even play that good this year and was still able to beat Sinner who is arguably the best and most consistent player this season. Anyway, just leave fanatism aside and acknowledge the achievements of both players...
Do you want me to tell you H2H between Nole and Nadal or Nole and Federer or even other top players when he was Carlos' age? I'll let you look that up, fanboy. By your words, that would be much bigger than "total humiliation" then... As you see, he's ended up having a better H2H, so you can't fault somebody for being young and inexperience. Reality is H2H is close, in grand slams it's actually in favour of Alcaraz, and if not for cramps, maybe, just maybe even in favour overall. Stop the cap, chief!

@@Pedro-jj7gp Kid won 3 Slams at 21 yrs of age on 3 different surfaces. That qualifies as prime.
Kid should be winning vs. all but he is not. Novak is there to stop him at 36+ yrs of age. It shouldn’t happen. But Nole is GOAT. Simply put. Beaten 5 gen of players. Positive H2H vs. Top 50 ranked atm. Insane. Fedal never achieved that.
People whining Federer only lost to Nole and Rafa due to the BIG age gap of 5-6 yrs???! 🤣
But 15-16 yrs age gap is nothing. 😬

@@Tennis_Expert Did he stop him at the Wimbledon final? That's the only slam final they've played. In their other slam encounter Alcaraz had physical problems. In other words, he's only "fully" beaten him at masters lol... Draw your conclusions.
So because he won 3 slams at 21 he is in his prime? You must be stupid as fuck man, because then your argument about Djokovic being old doesn't stand. He won 3 slams last year. So I guess he too was in his prime? See, your logic is flaw haha.
I bet you will admit last year wasn't his prime, so you don't know if Alcaraz is in his prime either. He could win more slams some other year, or maybe not (if other players play better), but the prime of a player is the highest level they achieve in their career. Saying someone that is 21 is in his prime is total bullshit, because he's just started his career, you can't know.
Rune isn't Alcaraz, nowhere near his level, so what are you on about? Of course he was gonna win lmao.
Also, Alcaraz has won 3 slams, one in each surface. But, every slam he won was in a different year. If you think he doesn't have the ability to win multiple slams per year, you're delusional. Now tell me, if he were to win 2-3 slams next year, wouldn't that already be better than what he has achieved? So what would that be? A second prime? Nah man, that's just stupid... Feel free to reply, I'm done talking
