這里的岷江指的是菲律宾的马尼拉河。这首歌是词曲作者李厚襄（用笔名）在1940 年代与几位音乐界朋友去菲律宾时有感而作。
原谅她吧,她当吋也七,八十歲同1938年在上海EMI出唱片不可日語。在大陸三反五反时,她在港的唱片賣到的版權費又收不到.直至九十年代先移到美国再轉至香港,版權費才收得返。老一代的歌星她都算是崎岣
