The emotions and excitement just leap off the cello (and the other orchestra members instruments of course). The album is truly a master piece... Vivaldi in cello!!! Even the author Antonio Vivaldi, wherever he is, I am sure that approves this magnificent work, specially the arrangement... I wanted to write this today, because yesterday, the first CD of Orquestra Juvenil da Bonjóia ( a young Orquestra from Porto, Portugal) was released, remarking the 10 years of existence... My son is one of the students (all are music students, between 9 to 18 years old, from the older but best music school in Porto - Curso de Música Silva Monteiro). As a founder student of OJB, as a resident cellist, for me it's something that I never thought I could have this feeling of mother's proud. Now, my daughter, also a music cellist student, in the same school (she started earlier than my son... they have 6 and half years of difference...she wanted to study music as her brother, so she started her studies with 7 years... she had always the sound of cello at home and outside, in concerts, at audiences, at rehearsals, etc... So, now with 12 is already a resident cellist of the same Orquestra! Probably in the next CD she is one of the resident cellists in the Orquestra!
She also likes Vivaldi and the way Luka Sulic plays... Of course, one of his fans! A proud mum!
I have been playing guitar for last 9 years and taught myself a little bit of keyboard, violin, bass, ukulele and cajon too. I am self taught and i have always feared classical music notation. A month ago i learned about vivaldi. since then i am addicted to Vivaldi's music and Vivaldi's music motivated me and finally i started learning standard notation and withing a week i feel much comfortable and all my fears gone. Vivaldi's music had an incredible optimistic effect on me .. Thank you vivaldi ❤

@Luka sulic We're into our 3rd wave and we are in Lockdown Level 2. All restaurants and certain businesses are open 'till 22h00. Wearing masks is compulsory. Contact sport in schools have been suspended. With our winter season that has commenced, it's a waiting game. Kind regards.
Absolutely amazing, Luka and team! I have listened to the full concert 3 times in the last two days, while cooking, cleaning, chilling and takes my breath away at every solo piece. I just have to stop doing what I am doing, it’s stunning! It’s like the iPhone, you don’t know how much you need it until you have it, and here it is, a piece I have loved since a child with a cello in the lead. Well done!
