Won't know unless we try it. Personally I don't have any desire to get 62gr since most of them are M855/SS109 which are known to be inconsistent. I will let other people to try out and report their results. With my limited budget and preference, I can only do so much :)
So t have an slr106 but I do have a SAM5 along with this Galil Ace. I have handled and slr106 and I can say the sam5 is noticeably heavier and the Galil ace is a bit heavier than the sam5. The balance also feels different on the ACE, a bit more mid front heft. That said though, I absolutely love this Ace
