I remember waiting the whole week to see this episode and I loved it. It seems just like yesterday when this aired. Too bad Nimoy only appeared this one time.
If I remember correctly, in the book "Star Trek IV The Voyage Home" candy had the same effects on Vulcans as alcohol does on us. If I remember correctly, after hocking Jim's glasses, they needed to get change for the bus. So, Kirk bought some candy and gave some to Spock, his metabolism couldn't handle it. It's been a long time since I read the book if you get a chance read it.
Has anyone noticed that Paul started hitting Hooker then Hooker grabbed Paul’s hand. Very similar to when Kirk began slapping Spock in naked time and Spock grabbed Kirk’s hand.
Fun Fact: Leonard Nimoy agreed to guest star on the condition that he be allowed to direct an episode as well. In retrospect, he was using this as his training for directing Star Trek III and IV.
@michaelj.r457 & @ednowlin1125 - Cutting and pasting a quote credited to MeTV: "Nimoy agreed to appear on the show under the condition that he direct an episode. He sat in the director's chair for "The Decoy" in 1983."
I remember watching the episode with lenard Nimoy on tj hooker when he played a long time partner of tj hooker and tj hooker mention that it was 16 years ago. It was 1982 when he said 16 years ago that means that is was 1966. I just figured it out myself that it was compared to the original star trek series with captain Kirk and Mr. Spock.
Reminds me of the scene in Star Trek when Kirk is punching Spock in the face in the transporter room then Spock catches Kirk's fist in his hand except the roles are reversed this time.
Truth be told the way Zachary Quinto assaulted Chris Pine in J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" should've cut short the film right there with Spock ending up in the brig and Kirk in the morgue.
It’s interesting never got any other Star Trek actors to guest TJHooker. I know George Takai and James Dohan didn’t like shatnera lot at this time but what about the deforest Kelly Nichelle Nichols?
When Pon Farr kicks in.
Good thing he didn't go for the Vulcan nerve pinch.

Spock, eat a Snickers. You're not you when you're hungry.
Better? Better
😂👍
Most logical
LOL!!!

That's the mirror universe!!
On an early Star Trek episode, Nimoy also gave Shatner a bloody lip
Why is Spock showing so much emotion?
Pon farr. Kirk better watch his step.
He was half human remember.
It's a holonovel.
Because Hooker is making Spock angry!!
@@4HBirtcher remember that Spock is half human.

IMDB shows this episode was directed by Phil Bondelli

Both Shatner and Nimoy always brought out the best in each other's performance.
Star Trek aired on NBC and T.J. Hooker aired on ABC and CBS
I want to know the name of this episode, so great to see it again in Mar twenty three 👍😎👍😀🇬🇧
This is one weird holodeck program!
Striking a fellow officer is a court martial offense
He was off duty
"At this point it would be illogical not to make an arrest, Jim." "Errr....Wrong show."
Even Spock would fear "Paul"!
Rest in peace mr spock
The needs of the many outweigh... the needs of the few... or the one.

Later they did another Star Trek movie which is called Star Trek 2 the Wrath of Khan
What would it be like if Dr. McCoy were there?
Damn it Jim! I’m a doctor, not a referee.
Could anyone suggest the title of this episode? Please. 🙏
*Nimoy punches Hooker*
*Amok Time fight music starts*
This looks around Star Trek III era

Mutiny on the S.S. Enterprise!
USS
Bartman954 Should be I.S.S Enterprise if it’s in the mirror universe
Disiorientating. If the Starship Enterprise had a drama club...
sneezejs If Spock and Kirk were in Dr. Crusher's theater troupe. I mean, by 23rd century standards TJ Hooker would be considered classic theater.
Looks like Spock's ears got plastic surgery
Best cop show 🤙🏼
Beam them up Scotty.
I am in control of my emotions.
When your able to be so epic as to catch a punch after taking one right to the jaw- Had Mr Spock thinking twice about his actions lol
Two buddies met

No Vulcan strength this time, eh?
Wrong show and network
@@jessyleppert2 Humor appears to be a concept above your pay grade.
What happened the Spock's strength
Spoooooaaaaaaaahk!
Had Spock chose "human" rather than "Vulcan" in his "Right of Passage" as a youth.

Okay Spock.....lighten up, and cool off your jets.....geez
Uncharted frontier here, both fighting each other.

I bet that was fun
Wait... They called this series 'tj HOOKER'? xD
Spock needs to calm down for a while
spock have coffee
LDS
Probably BEER and not coffee!!
40 quatloos on the newcomer.
All you’re missing are the rest of the Star Trek crew and Spock pointy ears.
And the amok time music
Shatnerian drama
Khan!!!!!!
