Cinema Slasher was absolutely phenomenal, such a good maze. I also really enjoyed Wax Works, that set design was some of the best I’ve ever seen. I’m not a longtime KSF fan so I didn’t really get Chilling Chambers, but I’m glad you guys enjoyed it.
The set design at Knott’s is just getting better and better and this year was amazing.
I think watching this knowing Halloween is your favorite makes it that much better for some reason lol. Knotts did a great job

Very fun video! It's cool that they are doing throwback Easter eggs, not only in the mazes like Chill Chambers but in The Hanging as well. I really should try to get out there this year. It's been a minute since I've attended. And yeah, Knott's has always had incredible atmosphere in the park for Scary Farm.

@@ThemeParkObsessionDD Knott's still has my favorite haunt visual of anywhere. Early 2000s, there was a little embankment by a small wooden bridge over a stream. It was backlit with fog and there was a zombified guy in full Scottish regalia actually playing bagpipes. Wish I could go back in time with a camera phone. Or just with a camera in general. That alone was worth the price of admission.

How long are the ride and maze wait times on a Saturday night? Is fast lane at $200 worth it over regular admission at $80?
I went last Friday, wax works honestly was very weak, only a few actors in there. Depths was really strong and Dark Entities (which was my least favorite last year) had me almost on the floor and it flew up in my rankings. All the new mazes were great but cinema slasher was next level. Chilling chambers was great too, Although I don’t know all the mazes, my favorite defunct maze (pumpkin eater) got some awesome representation in there. It had a giant pumpkin at the start and then the head of the pumpkin eater was in that mini hall of fame. The actors in there just went crazy after my friends too, awesome stuff.
Halloween is back ❤ wish I could go maybe next year !

If you plan on doing rides then I suggest fast lane. People make the mistake of waiting in line for rides during scary farm and then only end up going through 2/3 mazes.

@aaronj0seph that was opening ceremony for early entry and they have another opening ceremony at 7pm by ghost town when the event starts.

Great video I thought the mazes would be darker inside in the first ones you went in.
It was still light out so there was a lot of light bleed.
Going to Scary Farm tomorrow. Sorry, I had to stop watching halfway through when you started hitting the new stuff. I can hardly wait. Looks like it's going to be a good year.

We waited an hour and 20 minutes for Room 13 and was not impressed. Maybe it needs another shot, but we thought it was the weakest of all the mazes. Cinema Slasher was our favorite.
We thought it was fun but we agree that out of the three new mazes it was the least impressive.
Kinda off topic but would you say the Universal Studios Hollywood general admission is worth it ? I was thinking of going with two friends but $300 per person is a lot and I heard the general admission wait time for rides is hour(s) long. So should I wait til next year and hope the price goes down on the express tickets or should I go this year with general admission but suffer the possible hour-long wait times ?
Prices won’t go down unfortunately. I would say it’s worth it if you arrive early and make sure you follow my survival guide. And $300 per person isn’t the general admission ticket, you must be looking at an express ticket which is good because you can skip the long lines.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD Sorry, I meant to say that we were initially going to buy the express tickets but $300 per person was too expensive so we had to go with general admission. I'm just hesitant with getting general admission because of the wait time.

How so? I think it’s pretty fun.
If anything it's gotten better, better sets, lighting, effects etc. You have to remember everything knott's does is in house. HHN has a much bigger budget and can use their own IPs. No disrespect to Dylan and him working HHN when saying this, I've always felt scary farm is more interactive, at least on streets. You get more storylines as well. Not just trigger scares, (which I will say HHN is doing less of in their original non IP mazes) every event has their pros and cons. Knotts started it all and most "Haunts" as we know them probably wouldn't be a thing or at least not as big as they are. HHN is king of putting you directly into a scary movie and being all of that to life. Knott's is original ideas and concepts. Six Flags is good with black lights (honestly have never been). But hey each event has their crowd, some may think it's gone down hill and others may think it's stepped up. Can't please everyone. 😅
Bloodline is so boring and makes no sense without something to do. It’s not explained and then there’s people in the maze on our side. What is happening. Bring back the interaction.
I liked it better without the guns and the actors were going crazy
I partly agree, I feel like most of the people should now be against us. But it didn't really make sense with the guns as well, you would be rushed through and just shooting whatever had a glowing necklace.
If u ask me, less performers is a big plus. One of like many many MANY reasons I much much much prefer Knotts Scary Farm to HHN. I just wanna have fun and enjoy the atmosphere, theming, and set design.
Room 13 was so good. I agree that’s it’s time for Dark Entities to go. 😂
As much as I love it, yeah dark entities has run its course.
