I've been waiting for one of these videos for a long time. Short, straight to the point and honest. Even though i'm 17 i'm already saving up for one of these as it is my dream car. Thank you very much!
loved this bro. completely honest as per usual. please don't run that external gate though i can see fire occuring. the rest looks reasonably sound tho. only gripe is the cat wasn't in this video :( not even a surprise bit at the end or summit lol
Wastegate should be ok really, if anything it will just leak and not hold boost. Cat was fast asleep, which is very rare as she usually likes to cause a commotion when I’m doing stuff like this 😂
@@1BlueGhost sorry i was talking nonsense it's when they have the screamer through the bonne there ends up being scuttle fires haha my bad. awh bless her haha. merry xmas/happy ny my fellow rare rescue cat buddy
@@1BlueGhost haha yeah I just realised that after I watched your new one tonight haha. I reckon the twist to the story is the cats the one doing the mapping 😉😂
Good video mate but how much did it cost to build . I've had my ep3 for 2 years now and I've been wanting to turbo it but for an naturally aspirated engine it's scary fast ppl actually think Ive done mods but decat and straight thru pipe and not 2 mention ahem ahem ahem😂😂
@@1BlueGhost I have an EP3 which is quite standard. Did you use the car much standard, the with NA bolt on before you turboed it? I saw your video with the Skunk2 Ultra Intake Manifold. Looks like the NA bolt ons can be done for about £2k (Japspeed exhaust manifold, Skunk2 Ultra Intake with 70mm TB, 2.5" cat back and Kpro/K100 ecu). Do you think it is worth doing the NA bolt ons or go straight to a turbo setup. Great videos cheers
They are good car n/a with those mods. Some see about 250hp and it would make a great car to drive. I bought this car to turbo it so it’s difficult to say which way to go. The exhaust apart from a 4-2-1, inlet and ecu you would use turbo, so may as well do them anyway.
@@Boost_Addict20 yes id say that's probably a similar one to the one I use. pretty sure this link is the same one www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254077133709?hash=item3b282d638d:g:9wIAAOSwIgNXv5x3&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4KbtFnq1GBHclPXo7o7mghkpDjJ1IcGdVr1vwU9HR35YlkwgPT3BoH4FaQfyJuIbfbBPGNqQqIyHXTb7kmETCjzAVdcKyX32GYjBrqoy7j360h9YXijpRKXCWk7GokT%2Bwu0Enj%2FBKRALiLU60smTciqMOEOdEfMhH%2Budv1zVgkp2WIJh4LaBEOxHPwZY7Yct%2F1dWV%2BzzER3wbELfXUtZMCeKImTP0QkEMkni%2F2Mt0RyJp2nczKUtaA0x665s1jpc8zLQYXyxpvthfiDEC1XWpzrxkjmXq4UGjgZaqah2%2BxJM%7Ctkp%3ABFBMgo2jir9g
Pretty much the same as me price wise, however I've gone the supercharged route, but I have switched to any LSD uprated clutch lower ratio final driver betting better top speed and motorway driving but slower acceleration, gonna take the engine out next as I want some block work done. £5k is a really good price to have it done your way. Love to know what sort of numbers you're getting.
It “should” last at about 450hp without any changes from stock. It’s more about the increase in torque that kills them. I think over 300lb/ft will kill it quickly. Im hoping to get another engine to build up at some point.
Driving regularly it’s probably no different. It does obviously use a fair bit of fuel when you’re on the throttle though as to be expected. I’ve been using it every day this last week and the fuel gauge hasn’t moved much.
@joshwilcox8483 if you have any other flange style requirements the various fabricators that make the sidewinders will probably be able to make what you need. Always worth an ask

Wicked stuff! its a car ive wanted to build for a while so luckily got the chance.
The only thing I did different is a swirl tank with a Bosch 255 pump, when I went round conners at speed I got fuel starvation.
Great Vid, spot on.
Watched this whole series, been so good to watch, very informative mate. Nice job
Thanks very much 😎

Great video turbo seams very cheap has it lasted well .
Pretty much a year now still going well 👍 even the cheap wastegate seems to work really well which is more surprising to me

Im confused,Why do you need a 4bar map sensor if your running less than 2 bar?

Hopefully get it on the dyno towards the end of January and see where it’s at. It runs ok for street tuned anyway so far. I’d like to get to 450hp.
@@1BlueGhost how much does it cost to tune
Depends on where you take it I guess? Some places I’ve asked seem to be £450-500 for a map

My mate can a manifold out of chewing gum and a turbo out of old lego bricks, cost me £10 and a mcnugget share box.
they would probably do a better job than I did
What is the fuel eco? How much does it cost to run?
Driving regularly it’s probably no different. It does obviously use a fair bit of fuel when you’re on the throttle though as to be expected. I’ve been using it every day this last week and the fuel gauge hasn’t moved much.
Do you have to change the fuel rail because it you put the return on the fuel damper hole?
That’s not something I have actually thought of 🤔
Is that a t4 or t3 ? Looking at the la fab but they only do t3 or garret/ presicion fittings
T3 flange

Been wanting to turbo my civic for a while had two guys say they would do it for me now they are just not replying 😭
Who have you tried?
How much does it cost.. 4 pistons, 4 rods a driveshaft and your wife. Nice video mate 👍🏻
I think all of those items are still cheaper than a wife 😂

Can you put a list up in description or pos email.
That’s a good idea, I will make one and add it to the description over the weekend
