The 5th book is my favorite! It’s so long, but it’s so worth it, especially because they had to cut so much out of the movie and I think it was a lot of my favorite things because it was all character stuff. The audiobooks, especially if you can find the ones narrated by Jim Dale, really help with Hagrid’s voice and getting through the longest books on earth lol
I went from the movies to the books when I first read Harry Potter and I enjoyed it so much more that way. Especially the last 3 books. You already know the story but get so many more details about why things are happening.
When I read the HP series, only the first movie was out. Which I think made the books a lot more compelling. Could not put them down because I had no idea what was going to happen! 😄 But in general, I agree 600 page books are way too long!
As a British person when reading Hagrid’s parts in the book, I imagine understand cos I have a lot of friends with that accent and I guess the accents are easier to read and understand cos I live in the country 😅
I also have tummy issues. My experience with doctors has been so frustrating. I started eating OMAD to give my body a break and I eat very healthy now. I’m doing better. But as soon as I eat something “bad” my body lets me know. Processed sugar is a killer for me. I use honey instead but it has to be unfiltered pure honey. Anyhoo, ❤ ur channel
I didn't like Umbridge either. I agree with you about books being super long. I also think series don't need to be super long either. Just my opinion though.
Excuuuuuuuse me I don’t see the recipe in the description 🍌🥲😅 All jokes aside, consider myself a reader but I’ve never read the Harry Potter Books😮 am I the only one?
16:00 - as you say, the series is MG-YA; Percy and his friends are around 12/13 when the series starts and closer to 17 when the core series ends; most Percy Jackson fans call the film Percy Johnson and The Lightning Thief because of how terrible it is as an adaptation because they almost smushed parts of all the books into one and weren't that faithful to the first book in terms of events and the plot points, and the actors who played the characters were way too old for how old the characters are supposed to be - from the teaser trailer for the Percy Jackson series adaptation it looks a lot more promising in terms of being more faithful to the books, particularly because Rick Riordan (spoken, as the author himself has said Ry-ordan - rye, like rye bread ) is involved (he has been documented as deliberately distancing himself from the film adaptations because of how unfaithful they were to the books). Hopefully this doesn't come across as a rant, it's not supposed to be just hoping to give some insight :)
That’s not a very nice thing to say.. it’s not hard to read, Hagrids lines are weird to read since nothing is actually spelled normal. I read perfectly fine thank you and I suggest maybe changing your attitude towards people unless you’re intentionally trying to make others feel bad which I really hope isn’t the case..
@@faithsreadingthings why do people get pressed over nothing? 😂 I’ve read Harry Potter three times and yes, Hagrid’s lines are difficult to get through. I think it’s wonderful that JK Rowling wrote his dialogue in such a way so that we can know EXACTLY what he sounds like, even if it’s hard to read sometimes.
I litteraly could not read the passages when Hagrid is speaking, and the audiobooks read by Stephen Fry has been game changing! 😂 I also recently read the Percy Jackson series for the first time and I LOVE it! I enjoyed this video so much! It was so nice and chill and I'm also so excited for fall to come! It's finally looking a bit like fall where I live and I crave for coziness, which your video gave me! So thank you! 🧡🤎💚
I love the series. That book always takes foreeeveeeer to finish but it’s always a fun time

Definitely going to try that banana bread recipe with my mom
Love banana bread! Also honey is not vegan and not sugar free. Honey has ton of sugar in it ❤
I mean like refined & cane sugar free lol. But you’re right I always forget honey isn’t vegan

Harry Potter is not hard to read. Jeez. I was reading this book when i hardly knew English. Is your vocab level of a 10 year old?
