I just finished watching the TV series Dolunay (Full Moon) twice within 3 weeks, and it's dangerously addictive. I can't believe how many times I'll probably end up watching it again. I've neglected all my other work to indulge in this drama-it's truly the best Turkish drama ever. Can Yaman, as Ferit Aslan, delivers a fantastic performance. The story is not only engaging but also heartwarming, and every actor's portrayal is superb, especially the young Bulut, whose talent is remarkable. The chemistry between Ferit and Nazali is great, and their love story is beautifully depicted. The emotional depth of the characters and the intricate plot twists kept me hooked from start to finish. Can Yaman's portrayal of Ferit is both charming and emotionally resonant, making him a standout in the series. I only wish there were more episodes to enjoy; the storyline was so captivating that I found myself wishing for additional seasons. Dolunay has made me a devoted fan of Can Yaman, and I can't wait to explore more of his work. Kudos to the entire cast and crew for creating such a memorable and impactful series!
I started watching Turkish series this summer thanks to my American friend. I first watched Early Bird with Can Yaman. Then I watched Bride of Istanbul. Then I watched The Guest. I loved each show. Since then I’ve watched the first few episodes of some shows that did not meet the standard of the first three shows I watched, so I stopped watching and asked for a recommendation. This show was recommended to me so here I am. I am excited as the comments are all positive!
@@jawadse3384 Bride of Istanbul was very good! It gets a bit long winded at the end though. I got bored of watching Full Moon and did not continue this show, no offence. I instead watched a great show called Camdaki Kiz, I loved it. There’s another great show I watched after that called Adim Farah. I highly recommend both.

My go to series when I’m down. I’ve watched it many times and I never tire. I always discover new things. The acting is superb, the story is enchanting. Ferit is what most women want for a husband…perfection.
Just finished. It's 2.17 AM. I'm not a Can Yaman fan which is why I usually skip his dramas. But finally I was here and this drama changed my whole point of view. As Ferit Aslan, he set the bar too high. WARNING: If you have homework, exams or other important things don't start watching. Because I didn't sleep for 2 days.
I love how before they met their was something but he thought it was an old cook then when he connected her beautiful face as the new cook… then he started being lenient and he was drawn to her stubbornness about the notes, the kitchen, etc… She warmed his heart then the bonus was Bulut how she was with his nephew and his brother in law and friend noticing him acting different
I love Bulut being smart he play well!His character represent little spoiled brat but also a mediator.His natural way and interaction to Nazli was real.
This series captivated my heart eversince I came across with this early 2023. I keep rewatching it,at first I thought something is wrong with me,but after reading most of the comments here,it is a relief to know that I am not alone(very addictive indeed with no cure in sight). It is not a perfect story( I would change or omit some scenes),but I love it anyway. Can & Ozge are just adorable in all aspect with a symmetrical face that is pleasing to the eyes(angelic not arrogant looking). Bulut is an angel/cupid,for me the heart of this series. The rest of the cast are just as praiseworthy for a job well done. This is my comfort series in my stressful medical world( my stress reliever). Reading comments is just as enjoyable as the series itself.
For those who are going to start this drama, I’m sure it’s worth watching. I have seen so many Turkish drama, but I don’t know why my heart was stuck in here. Yes coz the content is so good. Its a complete package- good looking talented cast, compelling storyline, amazing chemistry btwn lead pair, complexities of relationships explored so well n so many other things. Romance, fun, heartbreaks, emotions everything is there. 🤩😊 Above all, it is much more realistic than some of the over-hyped superhit turkish dramas which I feel can overwhelm you with its cringe elements. For Dolunay - no matter how many times u watch it, u just love them all. ❤️
i'm liking this series... Can looks so much better with this look and built,, i mean he's gorgeous with long hair and buffed up body but this one? he's immaculate... this is my 2nd series of him and so far, im liking his chemistry with Ozge than Demet, first impression wise. I go back here coz i just finished watching it yesterday. Number 17 is really my lucky number hehe. Coz last saturday (august 17), i stumble upon this video edit of this series and their chemistry is just so intense that i instantly come here to watch it. And today i found out that it was released in 2017. It's just so PERFECT! The characters are perfectly fit to each other. And god, oh my god! Ferit and Nazli are the best characters ever. Their love story is a chef's kiss, they are perfectly made for each other. Ferit is a green flag 💚. His love for Nazli is unconditional and soo matured. He's my living wattpad character. Their visuals and physiques are so wattpad coded. And for the very first time, my blurry imagination of the faces to the characters that i read can now be seen clearly. Eehh, not really. He was obsessed with perfection and his character was very controlling and demanding which is why Nazli was reluctan and distant at the beginning. Then he opened up, all thanks to her of course
Dolunay was my first Turkish drama in Sep '22 and had watched quite a few of them by now and D is the only one I come back to watch it from scratch with so much of warmth in my heart...this is literally my nth time to watch this classic as I had really lost the count now...Can-Ozge chemistry is unbelievable ❤❤

what is it about can yaman we all love? no matter how old his series are we still talk as if his character is real as well as the leading ladies and want to take care of all of them. he is really good at tapping into real feelings of men, a real man and i love his manly actions and statements.
i think he's an exceptional actor. when an actor has to convey emotions without saying many words, that's ability he is a master of micro movements and the almost kiss..... he makes people believe what he says and does.....
Ferit is intelligent, good looking, calm and contended, he is a dream husband for a lot of women, he never shouts on Nazli, he analyses the situation carefully and takes the next steps accordingly, can watch it in repeat mode (I forward and skip the scenes until the main leads appear on screen), where as Erkenci Kus is different, Can Divit shouts on Sanem lot of times, he misunderstands her, he leaves her, though I came here after watching Erkenci Kus, I can’t watch that one multiple times but this one is an addiction, I like his looks better here than in other series, he looks too much bulky there

I get goosebumps watching some of the scenes in this series! Found this on youtube with original soundtracks and learning Turkish :) Storyline has got amazing twists, acting is outstanding, especially Can Yaman's character. He can express deep profound emotions through his magnetic eyes! I am so used to American style over-exaggerated monkey acting, that watching subtle expressions of Turkish actors is really a blessing. Thank you for uploading this! By the way the whole crew did an outstanding job of filming this beautiful, well made series. Camerawork is Hollywood standard, screenwriter is genius for creating Ferit's character, so different from typical lover boy with muscles he usually plays. Can Yaman's best looks is in this series in expensive business attire, exuding power and confidence and yet cheekiness and vulnerability. Ferit definitely wins the hearts of millions of women.

So true. I am rewatching this series now. Though EK makes Can Yaman more popular in the world but I believed Dolunay has better story and I loved his looks here as Ferit. ( I am actually sad with the current styling of CY nowadays, he is too muscular and has long hair) Then the beauty of Ozge Gurel is really admirable. She is a Snow White beauty_ so pretty🙂.

I'm a huge fan of Can Yaman from the Philippines, and I've watched all of his series. But "Dolunay" and "Mr. Wrong" are my absolute favorites. He's worked with a lot of talented actresses, but Özge Gürel is just perfect for him. Their chemistry is undeniable, it feels so natural and effortless, like they were meant to be on screen together. I can't get enough of "Dolunay", it's my go-to show when I need a pick-me-up. The story is heartwarming, the characters are relatable, and the chemistry between Can Yaman and Özge Gürel just makes it all the more enjoyable. I love it so much! I wish they would work together again on another show, maybe a romantic comedy or a period drama. And we definitely need a season 2 of "Dolunay"! I need to know what happens next with Ferit and Nazlı, their story isn't finished yet! ✨💫

I don't know anything about Turkish drama, it just pop out also in my recommendations to watch in you tube (thanks to you tube really!!!). When i saw the thumbnail, I noticed that the girl is so pretty and the man is so handsome so I click and check. Would you believe, I finished the whole series in less than a week, I can't sleep and sometimes slept at 5am already just to finish the whole series coz its excites me so much. From then on, I can't stop watching. After Dolunay, I search for another Can and Ozge's series and I found "Mr. Wrong" (another beautiful series). So everyday, I watch them alternately. On my mind, they are like "50 shades of grey" film, I never thought that they called Dolunay "50 shades of turkey". I saved in my Can and Ozge's folder playlist all the short videos that you tubers made. I also watch them everyday. My favorite is "Mad about You" by Maliaxx. Can and Ozge's chemistry is just out of this world. It gives me so much joy and happiness watching them. I just hope that they will make more series together coz they make a lot of people happy.
Me too, I have seen Can Yaman (CY) in his other TV series but to me this is the best & it is so addictive. CY looks so handsome, so dashing & so impeccable in business suits.
Every time I watch it I discover something new. Facial expressions, hand gestures, subtle language, the slow change in personalities, clothes and colours. Dedtails I didn't pick up the previous times. Makes eacg viewing more interesting.

I'm watching Dolunay for the 4th time. Almost the entire script is in my head.
Dolunay was my first Turkish drama in Sep '22 and had watched quite a few of them by now and D is the only one I come back to watch it from scratch with so much of warmth in my heart...this is literally my nth time to watch this classic as I had really lost the count now...Can-Ozge chemistry is unbelievable ❤❤
Nazli's bracelet gets stuck in Ferit's sleeves... An indication that they will get stuck with each other❤❤

what is it about can yaman we all love? no matter how old his series are we still talk as if his character is real as well as the leading ladies and want to take care of all of them. he is really good at tapping into real feelings of men, a real man and i love his manly actions and statements.

he is a master of micro movements and the almost kiss.....
he makes people believe what he says and does.....
Ferit is intelligent, good looking, calm and contended, he is a dream husband for a lot of women, he never shouts on Nazli, he analyses the situation carefully and takes the next steps accordingly, can watch it in repeat mode (I forward and skip the scenes until the main leads appear on screen), where as Erkenci Kus is different, Can Divit shouts on Sanem lot of times, he misunderstands her, he leaves her, though I came here after watching Erkenci Kus, I can’t watch that one multiple times but this one is an addiction, I like his looks better here than in other series, he looks too much bulky there

I get goosebumps watching some of the scenes in this series! Found this on youtube with original soundtracks and learning Turkish :) Storyline has got amazing twists, acting is outstanding, especially Can Yaman's character. He can express deep profound emotions through his magnetic eyes! I am so used to American style over-exaggerated monkey acting, that watching subtle expressions of Turkish actors is really a blessing. Thank you for uploading this! By the way the whole crew did an outstanding job of filming this beautiful, well made series. Camerawork is Hollywood standard, screenwriter is genius for creating Ferit's character, so different from typical lover boy with muscles he usually plays. Can Yaman's best looks is in this series in expensive business attire, exuding power and confidence and yet cheekiness and vulnerability. Ferit definitely wins the hearts of millions of women.
Totally agree with your nice comment. Really love the storyline of this series that's why I never tired watching this over and over again. The whole cast portrayed their roles really well. Of course Can and Ozge's acting are superb.
So true. I am rewatching this series now. Though EK makes Can Yaman more popular in the world but I believed Dolunay has better story and I loved his looks here as Ferit. ( I am actually sad with the current styling of CY nowadays, he is too muscular and has long hair) Then the beauty of Ozge Gurel is really admirable. She is a Snow White beauty_ so pretty🙂.

I'm a huge fan of Can Yaman from the Philippines, and I've watched all of his series. But "Dolunay" and "Mr. Wrong" are my absolute favorites. He's worked with a lot of talented actresses, but Özge Gürel is just perfect for him. Their chemistry is undeniable, it feels so natural and effortless, like they were meant to be on screen together. I can't get enough of "Dolunay", it's my go-to show when I need a pick-me-up. The story is heartwarming, the characters are relatable, and the chemistry between Can Yaman and Özge Gürel just makes it all the more enjoyable. I love it so much! I wish they would work together again on another show, maybe a romantic comedy or a period drama. And we definitely need a season 2 of "Dolunay"! I need to know what happens next with Ferit and Nazlı, their story isn't finished yet! ✨💫

At first I'm just curious of the girl's beauty it says in the comment that she looks like Dakota and Anne Hathaway. Then I found out both protagonist were equally beautiful, it caught my interest and got addictive. For the first time I'm thankful to TH-cam for giving me random MV recommendations.Every night before I sleep I watch that MV of fifty shades of turkey ( capital letters)one of the best Nazfer MV and also to pay homage.

I don't know anything about Turkish drama, it just pop out also in my recommendations to watch in you tube (thanks to you tube really!!!). When i saw the thumbnail, I noticed that the girl is so pretty and the man is so handsome so I click and check. Would you believe, I finished the whole series in less than a week, I can't sleep and sometimes slept at 5am already just to finish the whole series coz its excites me so much. From then on, I can't stop watching. After Dolunay, I search for another Can and Ozge's series and I found "Mr. Wrong" (another beautiful series). So everyday, I watch them alternately. On my mind, they are like "50 shades of grey" film, I never thought that they called Dolunay "50 shades of turkey". I saved in my Can and Ozge's folder playlist all the short videos that you tubers made. I also watch them everyday. My favorite is "Mad about You" by Maliaxx. Can and Ozge's chemistry is just out of this world. It gives me so much joy and happiness watching them. I just hope that they will make more series together coz they make a lot of people happy.

Every time I watch it I discover something new. Facial expressions, hand gestures, subtle language, the slow change in personalities, clothes and colours. Dedtails I didn't pick up the previous times. Makes eacg viewing more interesting.

Ozge is truly a great actress, apparently her character is supposed to be grumpy and stubborn 16:49 (they tried to let us know from this conversation) and she delivered!!
I love her as an actress but I love her even more as a person. Her work-life balance is truly admirable.
