Both of them admit they literally have only spoke to each other exclusively on the podcasts they've done together. I agree they have great chemistry but as far as relationships go this is somewhere below Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder yet above Eva Braun and Hitler.

Might be the best episode of TYSO! Rick, you're really getting better at letting your guests talk. The conscious effort to ask Mark Normand first as to why he finds comments helpful before giving your own opinion was very neat.

god do I love the way rick thinks and articulates himself. the thing about the possibility of him “making it” as a serious actor and having people discover his comedy that way, and actually liking that possibility because of how unconventional his stand up is and having the new audience already trust him because they know him already made a lot of sense

I love comedy podcasts of course, but my favorite thing about them is the meta part. I love seeing the minds of how it's actually getting done. Talking about the How and Why is so much more fulfilling for me. This is also the reason I find it difficult to get into movies; I remember that it's just a job. That being said, when I DO get into shows I get lostttt. As We See It is soo good. I found myself not thinking so much and just enjoying

PLEASE watch As We See It on Amazon… Rick- I was BLOWN away at your performance. The heartfelt commitment to your character, as someone who has followed your work for a long time it was incredible to see your personal touches on the character.. where jacks dad works!!... The “whom” line in the last ep made me chuckle. I saw ricky in jack and at the same time you poured yourself so far into him I saw jack as a human. Not a character. The WHOLE cast did an incredible job. The videography was great.. the storyline is so addicting. Congrats Ricky. This role should get you FAR and I look forward to seeing you in more in the future.

I feel like Rick is doing much better with being aware of himself. Usually when I watch this podcast, I have to take a few breaks during it because I just get so overwhelmed, but this is the first one I was able to listen to all the way through.

I get this comment. I think it’s the Mark variable. There’a respect there and also they’re very similar in their way of thinking. It’s a good back and forth and Rick doesn’t have to take the lead as much as usual. Also Rick isn’t at home, so he’s not on edge about the blanket and keeping it on the tray. He’s free. And he’s in a good mood. It’s great all around, but I do agree and understand. I’ve been watching every single episode in order for a while now trying to catch up, on top of some new ones thrown in and out, and occasionally I do roll my eyes and switch to a different ep for a minute, but I never even catch a lull with him and Normand. Also, every episode he grows and changes and becomes more self aware as do we, the viewers. I think that’s why we are the goblins and boppers we are. ❤️🔥

I love this mix because they are two polar opposite personalities. Rick doesn’t let other people’s opinion affect him at all especially with his diagnosis and Mark is always thinking about what other people think. Interesting to see each point of view.
