Thanks for posting this ~ I love it ❣️Met the band backstage near Copenhagen in ‘89 and was lucky enough to get a short drum lesson from Jeff himself where he taught me to play this very tune, so hearing this live take means a lot 🙏
It sounds like it's sped up. I know they played every tune faster live back then, but this sounds like it's been played too fast on a record -player. Like 1,5 times speed! You can hear it especially on the backing vocals.
Thomas Nicolaisen It sounded like it was recorded to tape (I can also hear wow and flutter during the recording). The recorder probably ran slower during the recording, so when the tape is played back on a different player, it will sound like it's sped up a bit.
I've never seen in comments here remark about the fact which is great btw that Joe sounds in most of the songs in a way like George Michael but with little bit higher pitch and i love both singers i must tell. And im glad Joe is got back his voice again and sings like never before live.
It sounds like it has been sped up! The refrains go too fast. But I'm glad it's a recording where Joe still has his voice. Nowadays he doesn't have that softness and hoarseness in his voice anymore.
大阪ライブ音源か~。Upありがとうございます。この頃のTOTOは最高だったと思います。Thank you for uploading the live sound at Osaka(called "Naniwa"), Japan.I think TOTO and Joseph were awesome then...
Where can I find this whole show? Especially this soundboard recording? Looking for quite some time now? Would be very helpfull...i have a few nice recordings (bootlegs) but not this one ;(
My favorite part of this song is the unique drum beat by Jeff Porcaro

@Gonzalo Prax I don’t see that speed as an option? Shows 0.25 then 0.5 then 0.75

I love the tempo. It's rockin'.
And if you look on YT, there is a video of Jeff explaining where he got the unique beat from.

I love this song... probably in my top 3 Toto tracks... they seem to have have stopped playing it after '88... except for little snippets.
It's really difficult to play live
Seems like they stopped playing it after Joe left.
Look at the band line up!!! All three Porcaro brothers ❤
Thanks for the upload, best song ever made!

I would love to hear "Luke's Guitar Solo"! Thank you for these!
beautiful !!!
Porque no ecisten videos de estos conciertos como me hubiera gustado verlos en vivo
Was Lenny Castro on percussion for this tour? Jeff Porcaro is my all-time hero, but I can hear additional percussion. And Lenny the MAN on percussion!
No. Luis Conte
Playback speed .9 is closest but it .92 or 3 would be just right.
Porqué no hay videos de estos conciertos
