Misa and Akane are the greatest of buddies and hang out a lot together. The best rhythm section ever, and I've seen a few, going to shows in the last 60 years.
Their final 10th Anniversary concert was three hours long, but there were still many fan favorites that they couldn’t play. The Spin Off show addresses this shortcoming by delivering a completely different set list, including HŌNKAI (long /o/).
“Spin-off” show from February 22, 2024, was a show that the maids mostly played songs that didn’t fit in to the 33 song set show from their 10th anniversary tour finale at Yokohama Arena on November 26, 2023. The meaning of “Spin-off” show changed slightly after that, and it currently means “a show with special features/theme”; e.g. an acoustic only show, mid-tempo songs only show, a show with set-list compiled by the bass/drum team or the guitarists team, etc….😊
At the 10 year anniversary finale concert in Yokohama arena, BAND-MAID performed 33 songs. That wasn't enough for the maids so they announced a spin off concert to play some of the songs that didn't make the cut. Still, I reckon they could've done a second spin off and still have songs to spare.
Of the 23 songs in the spinoff show there were 19 not played at Yokohama Arena plus a full version of Different that they did acoustically at Yokohama Arena. Agree , there were still a ton of songs left off of the 2 shows that would have made an equally good 3rd show.
