That single ring piston looks to be a Dycks ring and piston from the 1970's. I have a 1971 100cc Hodaka Super Rat dirt bike with that same piston in it.
Hi there, some early 009's and 011's (I believe) have (had?) single ring pistons.... The 36mm bore ones. The 38mm ones went to a two ring design. I have one of both. Much smaller saws though for sure. Cheers
I just got a 050 AV today for £5 ! .. Its a full engine with top cover but needs a few bits to make it complete again.. Its a biggun with double dog teeth spikes. I couldn't say no for a fiver !
Hi do you hone your cylinders before assembly are you doing this one would like to see what you uses and how you do it thanks I’m rebuilding my father’s 075 putting rings in but can’t find anything to hone it with any suggestions would be most greatfull
Hey I have an S10 torn down that needs a jug and piston. Will a bigger one fit? It's the rear handle kind. It has good bearings and seals. Otherwise I will sell the parts. It's too heavy and weak . Also it doesn't have the air vane governing so I assume it runs faster than my 08S. I have a nice 24in 404 bar the big mount . 58ccs don't get it.

do you know where to buy a carb for these saws. i have one but it came without the carb
