May 24th, 1941, Bob Dylan's birthday. He is doing well and I thank God for this. I was hoping that you would be willing to come over and play with him, Eric Clapton. You love the blues, and country music, it would be a great blessing for Bob Dylan, and all artist here. Love you, always, Elizabeth ❤️❤️❤️
I know you are a wonderful person and intelligent man. As well, great muscian, please ask Bob Dylan, before you make any decisions, love you always, Elizabeth ❤️
Eric needs someone to help out with dialing in his tone now hes older and harder of hearing. Imagine if he played that intro on Doyle’s strat if it were right handed. Or it could’ve been the reverb from the hall that made the intro boogie muddled.
Hate to say this but Eric has past his best...saw him several times most lately at last years' Tribute to Jeff Beck gig. Best live experience and album is the recently released Blues at the Fillmore West recorded back in 1994. Peerless blues from him and the excellent band. th-cam.com/video/hm5Xh9htV4g/w-d-xo.html
Completely agree, but give the man a break, he's almost 80, and with several health issues, and to be still playing at that level and with such professionalism, respect. People with less than half his age and with a clean bill of health don't play as good as him right now. Best era got to be late 80s to early 90s, having kicked out all addictions and playing those Lace Sensor loaded Strats through Soldanos, was pure genius and magic.
catholic cowboy deluded with some sort of moonshine hes been drinking god forbid someone speaks their experience, isn't that the disciples were doing all along??

@@TheSavagederekexactly 😂 bet it sounded amazing there.
@@riklionheart23 It did! It was so cool to see a more uptempo version of Crossroads.

The unvaccinated Fender man comes back haunting us ... HELP !
He got vaxxed twice, had a terrible reaction to it and dared to speak out. 🤷🏼
@@riklionheart23 ... yeah yeah we know the tale .... He should stay at home and not have fun infecting his audience.
