1. The Confederate battle flag wasn't first fielded until December, 1861, five months after Manassas 2. Albert Sidney Johnston was not present at Manassas, he was still in Arizona trying to make his way to the Confederacy proper. They probably meant Joseph E. Johnston who was one of the major field commanders of the battle 3. Pregnant Anne Frank is still Best Anne Frank :)
This is wrong in the game. At first Manassas both sides had completely different uniforms 8 union regiments wore all gray Uniforms and many confederate wore blue it didn't help that the flags looked the same and of course the weapons now it was common at the wars start you did see colt revolving Rifles but nearly all of the men at first Manassas had Springfield muskets most being smoothbore and of course a Henry repeater that should not be their since those things were never used in the war until it ended in 65
That specific repeater rifle wasn't a Henry rifle... I have this game for PS2 and the Henry rifle appears but in later missions (actually, it first appears in Mission of Chattanooga, Unionist campaign, if I'm remembering it right),
But the amount of usable guns is pretty good... Not sure, but I believe you can find and use Spencer rifles, Henry rifles, early Winchester rifle models, Sharps rifles and Springfield musketoons...
I din't knew there has a confederate campaing, i thought it was only in the union's perspective. And a question, do you know some rts game about the US civil war?

Now if you have a solid argument for why this game's mechanics actually worked perfectly, I'd love to hear it. If not, then you are sad and I have no desire to speak to you.

I like how he could somehow carry 3 different rifles, 1 revolver, and a sword.

And all the ammunition for those weapons as well.
There's impressive detail on the reloading animations. Doubt we'll many of those these days.
It would be nice if we saw the player putting percussion caps in the 1860 colt revolver.

So an FPS game with muskets CAN be done. This game had allot of great ideas that were just poorly executed.
For being 2006 it's a great game tbh they were just trying to get the loyal call of duty fans to play and make money

In 2006 cod was super unpopular and not liked among fps so it was made to represent the civil war dumbass
