Brilliant video Joe. Well done Adam on your success. To see the effort put in to be able to take these stunning Koi to a show for everyone to enjoy, was truly outstanding.
I really enjoyed this video ,I went to the show saw your awesome koi took lots of pics of them and many others but was most impressed by the chagoi’s size and the fact that she was so clean, I had a great day out and came home with a few additions to my collection , it was a very good show ,I’ll definitely be back next year .
What a great video both of you. Really enjoyable watch that. Well done Adam! Well deserved both of them fish. Great to meet you both at the show and hopefully this will inspire some more people with smaller ponds! 👌🏻
Great video - I remember a few years back seeing Adam just move into this house is that right? And he then got into the hobby? Back then it was unknowns and then seen nothing of him on YT and then this pops up and he’s living the dream! Does he have a channel?
Great insight to Adams prep. Comes to something when you have to drag the pond to bag the fish😂 id be interested to know how he goes about treating for fluke, surely he's not using off the shelf treatments?😖 It was great to see Adams Vat. stunning Aka Matsuba, and what a beast of a Chagoi👌 as for the Showa, purely based on pattern i liked the lesser bodied one.
It's a wonderful rearing technique! In Japan, this is where the real work starts, and the finishing touches are put on to further bulk up and cover them with TSUYA and TERI, but... it's a pity because they are about 60 to 70% yet!!
The trip from Japan is bad enough, why put the Koi through this for a medal on the mantle piece. Show the Koi in it's own water/ pond and get judges off their Lazy Arses
@@TheKoiPerspective you will just have to wait until the show then I will tell Amir you said that do it himself and I will say I did ask Joe to help you and do a little video, but you declined 😝😝😝

Adam's vat was great, I do think we could have filled 3 vats. I believe he has stopped using off the shelf treatments.

I know what you mean mate, it’s a lot of risk for the fish, but it also hugely promotes the hobby every year and that is an absolute fundamental.
If you want when it’s the alll England show you can come round my house with Amir and bowl my Fish because he doesn’t such a good job ha ha ha 0:11
Hahahah thanks for the compliment Dan 🤣 good luck at the show
