It is important to be aware that not all zoonotic diseases in pets cause clinical symptoms. Sometimes zoonotic diseases are harmless to pets or do not cause clinical symptoms in animals but can be transmitted to humans so that without realizing it turns out that pets that are under the same roof with the animal owner can actually endanger the health of the owner.
Therefore, one of the best ways to keep your pet is to keep it in a cage. In order to avoid saturation in the cage at a certain time, the mammal's pet can be released in the yard or in a closed yard.
It is considered unwise to let your pet roam outside the yard like a walk and be in a place that allows him to easily get along with wild animals without us knowing.
Associating with wild animals will make it easier for our pet dogs to contract diseases from these animals which sometimes do not cause clinical symptoms but can be transmitted from other animals.
In addition, letting a dog roam around will be able to harm the people around you, especially if the dog has an aggressive nature and can annoy people he doesn't know, this can actually be troublesome.
Choose a permanent or semi-permanent cage
You can use a permanent cage or a simple cage that is still not permanent. Especially if you use a semi-permanent cage, you must be willing to provide a comfortable special room for the semi-permanent cage. After all, our beloved animals need a comfortable, protected and safe room from various other animal hazards and bad weather.
This special room should be separated from the house or if it is forced to merge with the house, at least the cage has ventilation and a different entrance to the house we live in.
In the cage you can place several simple cages that have a smaller size, if you don't have enough cages for all the animals then you should choose a transport cage. In this way animals can be carried away or moved more easily. But remember to keep the dog's comfort first.
If the pet owner only has a limited space so that he cannot provide a permanent cage, there is actually nothing wrong with using a simple small cage made of wood or iron and placed in a protected place such as a terrace or veranda.
But keep in mind when making a simple cage because usually the terrace or veranda is not wide, so it is better if the roof of the terrace can be widened and also provided with a screen protector or tarpaulin or thick plastic that can be dismantled and reassembled so that it can protect animals when it rains.
The size of the cage must also be appropriate to the size of the animal so that it is not overcrowded if you have more than one dog. Of course, because if it is spicy it will result in animals suffering from stress and this will easily make them sick.
