It's a repeated pattern that in the late middegame/entering endgame you make 3 second evaluations and throw your position in the trash. Which is bad considering you have almost 14 minutes.
In this game it was the "I have to prevent Rg5 so I will play f6" and also before that your queen barely has any squares left and your main worry is your opponent pushing a5 without giving serious thought and consideration to your queen that is becoming trapped.

Verbal thinking instead of calculation of material threats. Absolute evaluations ( "I must...") instead of verfying whether his 2100 level evaluations may be wrong. To be 2500 you can't trust 2100 positional evaluations absolutely, HP, especillay when you are under an attack. You must calculate in such positions. Not doing so is an almost universal failing of untitled Caro-Slav-London players.

The thing to pay attention to is not that you lost, or didn't see that the Queen is trapped, but making the move instantly when you had 13 minutes left on the clock.

Can't excuse loses on your opponents having perfect accuracy when accuracy means finding a 1 move blunder. I also have perfect accuracy against my little brother who hangs every piece and tries to eat his own pawns.

I too, have relatives who eat pawns, but they still beat me at chess. Do you think eating a steady diet of pawns would help Stjepan's game?

Well, just yesterday I got my queen trapped on move 14. I know how that feels. Same mistake - played too fast in the transition from opening to middle game.

It must be tough when you get grilled in the comments. You played too quickly. But OTOH, your winning streak was in part due to playing faster, so it's a tight rope.
