We have a 9 yr old Goldendoodle we rescued a year ago! Smart dogs! We are getting a Bernedoodle mid May & she will be 4 months so all your tips were helpful. You didn’t say what he weighs?? I would definitely crate him at night, he can’t ruin a crate & they are den animals, they grow to love them. Not too late! WE crated our past dogs so it keeps them contained when he may wake up before you. I LOVE his name!!👍🏼
I have a F1bb 4yrs old and a F1b that’s 1yr. They are so adorable. I love watching your scooby. But both of mine I did crate train. It was so easy with the snuggle puppy. They only get the snuggle puppy when in the crate at night. Which makes for a perfect nightly routine.
@@AsToldByNana Looks like Scooby is already bigger than Kwame. Kwame's dad is a 10lb Toy Poodle and mom is a 35lb Aussie - I know, what a match. They are guessing his adult weight to be between 18-20lbs. It's about time for him to go back in and be weighed. I'll keep you posted. Enjoy your day.
Scooby is adorable! Just a friendly tip…. Use a different visual command for sit. Holding your hand up flat can mean wait as well. Using the same visual cue for sit and for gimme 5 is confusing for him. Each visual cue must be different, the same as verbal cues are all different. He’s a smart and beautiful boy! ❤

You took so long I ended up getting a Mini Poodle instead. I didn’t want him to get too big. Also, hair maintenance I think may be a bit better. Tell me you still have Scooby?

I don’t think he needs trimming but maybe I think maybe around his eyes but I think 🤔 his grooming a little my opinion not really his coat I think scooby looks fine kool scooby do treats

He got big . You can take him to a groomer for a “puppet trim” aka sanitary trim. That way he will get use to going to the groomer.
That’s a good idea, I’m going to look into a local groomer.

I have had the same problem with my girl marking her bed. I ended up getting her a dog mat, and she hasn’t used it on it yet. fingers crossed🤞🏾

Your good with brushing your dogs teeth everyday, I had to do my puppy at least 3 - 4 times a week.... You making look bad... 😆 🤣 lol
Haha thank you! Now I’ve gone down to once a week but I put “doggy mouthwash” in his water daily.
