So, you are going exactly by the book……..first, I applaud you for actually reading the book. Second, you are actually using a torque wrench….sorry, I’m a bit shocked that anyone younger than 45 even knows what they are. The only criticism I have is your lack of oil filter change. Yes the book says every other……..problem with this, you can skip the oil filter every time routine as long as you ride the bike in the OPTIMAL conditions…..those are, 70-80 degrees, 55-70 mph steady cruise, less than 30% humidity, no rain, sand, dirt, wind, traffic, cows, deer…………after 33years of fixing engines, I can always tell who has skipped oil changes, skipped filters,or run RACING oil past its good miles. Yes,racing oil is not an interval oil, it is a use oil. I run racing oil and change as often as I can. Oil and filters are cheap, engines are not. There is a lot of trash in the engine thanks to the oil bath clutch and since Kwakasaki are known for oil issues, I would want my s*it as new and as clean as often as I could afford.
I may be a part of the generation that doesn't read manuals/ do any research, but I was raised by 2 life long mechanics who taught me the proper ways and tools to use to wrench on things, which makes a big difference. Shout out to my Mom & Dad for that! Honestly, this one was more of an experiment, as this is the 1st time I didn't change the filter. I'm curious to see the difference it makes. My plan is to do the filter every time going forward.
😂 tenemos la misma moto

@LuisSanchez-kl6cm good choice! How many miles have you put on it so far?
