Had a cassette of this track while i was in college( University of Ibadan). Don't remember how i came to possess it. I would play this jam over and over again on campus. My roommates also fell in love with the song. We had our own "Mase/ P. diddy" dance move that we executed in synchrony to this song. I never knew the title of the track ( I thought it was "awa lolode o..")so when i lost the tape, i couldn't replace it. Fast forward 315 years later, i am browsing youtube and i run into this song, its been non-stop partying all over again!
Sad to say that, in my misspent youth, I only caught snippets of Orlando Owoh's sound. I'm thoroughly chilling to this as I work at my desk. Simply beautiful, especially when you consider the challenge he must have faced to maintain his own unique style in the face of dominance by the juju, apala, fuji and other highlife, etc. styles. Thanks for posting, Mr Orlando J. I'll surely find pleasure browsing your video collection.
Who is hear with me still listening to this music 2018...thumb up here in Dubai, RIP
