I used to not like bronzer, now I could put bronzer all over my face 😀
Also contouring, I felt like it was waste of time, now I contour every day as it makes such a difference to the whole appearance.

Did you know they actually make a pump for the Double Wear? It’s sold separately but it makes more sense than pouring it out!

Out of nowhere, I'm finding I'm enjoying more natural eyes lately. I've always worn mostly very very colourful eyeshadow, so I find it quite odd..
Me too! I've been really delving into my more neutral palettes lately and even wearing mauve shades (!) in lieu of my blues and bright greens and purples. Still need ridiculously long lashes and a smudgy, smokey lashline but I'm feeling my browns, bronzes and earthy greens more than my brights recently.
I'd like to see 'revisiting products I rejected' and see you use the teals / greens in the ND Gold palette

I used to wear a full foundation....now I prefer light to light - medium coverage... I'm more accepting that my skin isn't perfect 💕💕
Even with having "more imperfections" now in my 50s than in my 30s, I've really gotten away from full coverage foundation. Still love Lancome Teint Idole but I use much less and sheer out my application with a sponge instead of using a brush. SOOO much more flattering on my older skin.

This is more general, but I never cared about matte eye-shadow. I only cared about sparkly shades and I rarely even used mattes, and the idea of an all matte look sounded so boring to me. But I have come to really appreciate an all-matte look and even more crazy, I LOVE bright colors in all matte. Like a matte yellow look??? Yes! A mint matte look??? YES!
I'm only 8 mins in and I'm listening to the "a pump of this , a pump of that" and for YEARS with all of the mixers or mixin foundation trend was on, the WHOLE TIME I'm like 'i don't have time for an art project in the morning. If it's not the right shade it's done." and NOW people are decluttering their mixing. So funny. Don't feel bad. if things don't work, they don't work!

I'm the same with foundation. My skin is pretty good so I'm just now into foundation and I'm almost 36. I tend to lean toward light coverage just to even out my color a bit to look more put together ❤

You can buy a pump for $10 from Estee lauder or Sephora online for the double wear bottle, or put your finger over the top, tip the bottle upside down and then right side up again, and voila! You have foundation on your finger to dot on your face for blending. That's what we used to do in the days when there were no pumps on bottles

I used to hate mascara. When I first started wearing it, I felt like my face wasnt right for such long lashes.. I don't know if I thought it was too babyish or that it was masculine somehow? But I decided that it wasn't for me and went on my merry way. Now I don't go without it ever unless I'm just not wearing makeup, and I even use two mascaras on my top lash and then 1 on the bottom.

I realize I’ve been around your channel and socials for a long time! Ive switched out my social name over the years like you’ve switched your preferences. It’s all good for change! Loved this video. I had to come on and see what you have on your lips also! This lip combo on you is stunning!
I never used creams a few years ago either and now I love them, especially cream blush! I also didn't use gloss and thought tinted balm type lip products were such a waste (I guess I only wanted high pigment lipsticks haha) but now that's my favorite type of lip formula! I also didn't own a concealer until last year lol
I think in general, a few years ago I wanted a matte look (powder foundation only) with a bold lip and neutral eyeshadow and now I am more into a natural, slightly dewy finish and nude lip with more going on the eyes, not afraid to play with color- greens and purples are my favorites.

I just got the BH Cosmetics Pistachio pallete which is greens. If you don't have it already you might really like it. So many rave about it.
I recently got into cream and liquid shadows and used to HATE them! But now I love them because it’s so easy and convenient!

I used to hate dewy foundations, dewy blushes, bronzers etc. I wanted Matte everything. Well now it’s exactly the other way around 😂
I think it's great to change things up and retry things because it keeps you from getting into a rut. We don't want to use the same products for 20+ years. It's important to be open to change and seeing yourself in a new light! Xo 💗

Mascara, hands down. I have a double lashline, so having twice the amount of lashes people regularly have. It's kind of like being born with a set of falsies on, the extra set grow straight from my waterlines. Mine are heavy and dense naturally, and I could never wear a mascara that didn't imediately clump them together, and because they're so heavy naturally the added weight and clump made mascara uncomfortable. However, I discovered that those mascaras that are sold for a "natural no makeup makeup" finish give them a curl and remove some of the shimmer that gets stuck in them from my eyeshadow without making them stick together or weighting them down. I have no problem as long as I keep to one coat and keep it thin. Mascara is forgiven.

I too didn’t care for the double wear when I first tried it, not sure why but I didn’t think it was good coverage. Then I decided to re purchase years later and now I have it in multiple shades! It’s so good and lasts in the humidity in Australia! ❤️❤️❤️

That eye look is definitely you! So gorgeous, the Sol Body Bronzer also looks great on you! I don’t own any of ND large palettes. I do have the midi Glam as well al almost all of her mini eyeshadow palettes, some of her blushes and one of her highlights. I love the ND formula. I really like Patrick Ta, but have been saving my coin to buy Vieve’. I’d really like to buy and try out her stuff. I think she’d have amazing formulas!

I didn’t like greens either until now. Same with blues. Now I’m all for the greens blues and yellows. I remember when I was a kid my mom had little spatulas for all of her skin care…I learned from the best! She used to get them from the make up counters at the department stores. 🤷🏻♀️
